"…" Cruz crossed his arms.
Grace stopped screaming. Sabine sighed. "If you want, we can finish the movie, or we can go to bed if tonight was too stressful for you."
Fae looked away, face streaked with tears, standing up. Her left sleeve caught on a drawer, and as she moved up it did too, exposing the fresh gash on her arm. She quickly shoved her sleeve down.
Grace stopped screaming. Sabine sighed. "If you want, we can finish the movie, or we can go to bed if tonight was too stressful for you."
“I’m good with either.”
The blood and color drained from Cruz's face, and he took another step back purely out of shock.
Fae hastily shoved down the sleeve, not daring to look him in the eye. Stupid Fae.
"Why? Why would you do that to yourself?" He seemed.. suddenly… angry..? Almost..
She still wouldn't look him in the eye. "You know I can't lie to you…", she whispered, her voice sounding so broken and lost that even Cruz was taken aback.
"I–" She choked. "It's a bad day."

"Why don't yo7 come to me? Why don't you trust me?" He demanded.
His words hit Fae like a whip. "Fine! My rapist was let out of jail today, are you happy?!", she yelled.
Hello?)
Sabine gave Macha a small smile. "Movie then. We still haven't gotten to the best part yet." She then ran into the TV room.
Macha follows.
His words hit Fae like a whip. "Fine! My rapist was let out of jail today, are you happy?!", she yelled.
"I-I just want you to talk to me!" He digressed, his eyebrows pulled together.
Fae covered her face with her hands. “And I just want you to give me some space! I got exactly one hour of sleep last night, Cruz, and every moment I’m out there I am terrified, scared out of my goddamn mind!”
(Things heatin’ up in the fandom)
Cruz fell very silent now. Silent like a graveyard at three in the morning, no sun or star in sight. His mouth became a solid line of cold rock. Not permanently of course, but now the rift of trust has been permeated in their perfect existence.
“I’m sorry, Cruz. I’m sorry. But— but I told you in the beginning that I would need some space, I—“ Her voice broke. “You have no idea how hard it is, loving you until every part of me hurts, then having a relapse. Again and again and again. Just when I think I’m healed.” Her voice dropped. “I’m sorry Cruz. I love you.”
"I love you too." He whispered. And he meant that. Cruz's weight shifted to his other foot, owl-feather-brown eyes sticking a little heavier on her face.
“I— I hurt you. I’m sorry.” Her voice was hoarse.
