"I- I don't know who I am." Joel replies to Miles, his eyes yellowing slightly as he starts to go animalistic from fear.
"I- I don't know who I am." Joel replies to Miles, his eyes yellowing slightly as he starts to go animalistic from fear.
"Ah, amnesia. Don't worry, I am rather experienced in these sorts of things." He smiled, tapping a finger on his temple.
"E- experienced?" Joel repeats, still scared out of his mind.
Actually, Mile's words only seem to serve as a fuel for the fear the kid was feeling.
"I've seen it happen before. Though, I must admit, I'm no doctor, and cannot cure it whatsoever." Miles had no idea what this kid was feeling. I don't think he knows what he's doing, either.
Joel blinks slightly, now stunned and still scared.
"'Cure it?' Do I need to be cured?" he asks in a trembling voice.
"If you want to get your memories back, yes. But as long as you know how to do basic things, there's no real need." Jeez, he's blunter than Franziska.
(Wait i legit forgot WTF RinRin is doing… RinRin wanted to try restoring Joel's memory)
(Read back)
(it's hard on flip but aight)
(okay so, i want RinRin to be able to partially restore memory, or not. Either way, RinRin will now have a strangely powerful urge to protect this kid with his life.)
"Hildegard… Let's get you back to the others." RinRin floats down and takes her arm, looking at Lumi. Help with this teleport. She nods and takes RinRin's hand. Moments later, the three of them are sitting with the others.
Lumi speaks first. "You guys have any emergency supplies? We're looking at a (and I'm making up words that sound like a real thing) cardio-respiratory leak. Basically, her heart was bleeding into her lungs. The wound is cauterized but she'll need fluids and rest and also some meds I can make from herbs. Uh, I need… Lavender, mint, and magnesium(Shit idk I'm making some random shit up). Also some pine sap and a roll of bandages."
RinRin sits on a log, his head hanging. He tries to signal Joel over telepathically. Hey, kid. Over here. I need to talk to you.
(thats actually a good entry; im proud of that)
"i have some lavender and mint." Varuni said, finally getting up.
(poor painted, just watching this chat die… I'm sorry)
(🥲)
(Also, take a look at this, heheh https://t.co/gJWGLWCG2Q)
(i'd respond but aside of having maya say "you're welcome" i have no idea what else i could make her say…)
(ah yes 'whack his pp')
(Want me to add some stuff?)
(But maybe she doesn’t have to say anything? Maybe she could just..hug her or something)
(you know what, i like the hug idea, imma do that)
(Good, this bitch desperately needs physical affection)
Maya's words seemed to hit deep. No one had said these words to her face. Even if they believed it, it was always when she couldn't hear it.
Franziska clenched her fist, shaking. She looked as if she was going to shatter into a million tiny pieces. But she wouldn't break. She couldn't. A von Karma doesn't crack under pressure. She composed herself, standing up straight.
"….Thank you, Maya Fey." She said quietly, finally turning to look at her, still too nervous to fully commit to it, her light blue eyes darting between Maya and literally anything else. It seems she was open to talk, now.
The medium had wanted to give the prosecutor a hug for a while now but knew that Franziska would probably not agree to such a thing. A surprise attack was always the best way to go, in her experience. So, Maya gave her a bright smile, and then without a second thought, hugged Franziska. She was not going to let go of her until someone else pulled her away, or until Franziska threatened her.
Hildegard heard Lumi ask the others if they had emergency supplies, but didn't hear what the others said after. She kinda tuned them out. She stared at the ground blankly, wondering what the fuck happened. Did her lungs filling up with blood had something to do with the sharp pain she when she gave Joel some of her magic? The worst part of that experience was when she started hallucinating about her father. And knowing herself, she probably said things that had she been in the right state of mind, she would never say around strangers. "There are some herbs in the basket over there," Hildegard whispers, her throat hurting from earlier. She weakly points toward the direction of the wicker basket she had yesterday. It was sitting near the now extinguished campfire.
(I'm going to introduce Coral into the RP sometime later since Hildegard is kinda gonna be out of commission for a bit (also bc i had already plans to bring Coral in hehe)
Franziska's eyes widened, she didn't do anything for a good two seconds, trying to figure out what to do. Eventually, the prosecutor slowly wrapped her arms around Maya, practically melting in the other’s hold, her face akin to this. She felt utterly pathetic, but…she let it happen. Franziska von Karma was letting some foolish defense attorney's assistant…hug her. And she was hugging her back. She should be angry, but instead, she felt…well, she didn't know what she felt. All she knew was this felt…good.
Joel looks at Miles like he'd just grown two extra heads and horns on each of them, and backs away very slowly.
He nearly screams when he hears the voice in his head but manages not to. Why? You're a strange person who's in my head now-
