(ooh i do like what painted said. the stronger a person is in magic, their magic starts to weaken as they spend time in the forest)
(ooh i do like what painted said. the stronger a person is in magic, their magic starts to weaken as they spend time in the forest)
(i like that! maybe thats why the forests magic is messed up, because its stolen magic)
(well by that logic, RinRin wouldn't be able to exit his void, thus being trapped in it)
(Ah, there's no logic in magic)
(true but still)
(We can probably find away around everything)
(But for now, let's continue, I'll repost)
Luckily for Miles, the tremor from the explosion was only as bad as a plane landing. But Franziska wasn’t as fortunate; as soon as the boom rang out, she latched herself onto Miles’ arm, eyes wide, her fingers digging into him, barely cushioned by multiple layers of clothing.
The older prosecutor could feel her heart pounding through her chest. He didn’t know what to do, she’d never acted like this before. He set his eyes on Maya, who knew much more about emotions than he did, asking her for help with just a facial expression.
(I've just realized that it's been 3 years since Painted started this and I've been part of the original + many of its reboots…. that's crazy)
Maya froze when she heard the boom. She stayed like that for a half a minute before she slowly started moving. After seeing Edgeworth's plead for help, Maya nodded slightly and made her way towards them. "Hey, hey, Franziska, it's gonna be alright, okay? Breath in, breath out. Don't speak, just breath."
Varuni glanced at the child that caused the explosion. "As fun as this has been, we either need to leave or stop talking." Varuni said, slowly and carefully. "Or… that might happen again"
"Can we perhaps eat first before we do anything else?" Hildegard asked as she eyed the conjured plates with a distrusting look.
"Sounds good." Varuni said, climbing back into a tree.
Joel's face turns slightly red.
"I didn't know that just by saying fi-" he starts before freezing and sighing. "-that word would cause an explosion!"
(i have an idea)
(Ooo go right ahead lol; ideas are always welcome)
(Yeah, it’s been a while, but it honestly feels like longer)
Edgeworth recognized this situation all too well; he’s been in it himself many times. But he had no idea how to help. Especially with her.
Franziska looked to the other women, her expression changed, as if she was pleading Maya wouldn’t see her in this pathetic state. She closed her eyes tightly, and, as told, just breathed. Her death grip on Miles’ arm loosening. Finally, she sighed, letting go completely and stepped back.
The man rubbed his arm with a slight wince. “Franziska, what was that all about?” Miles asked sharply, his expression hard to read.
“That wasn’t anything.” She replied, grabbing her shoulder, once again with the Edgeworth scowl.
(Damn, that’s a lot of people lurking)
(96– oop. Ignoring the first 58 cause all threads start with 58 or so even tho no one is actually following.)
(Ah, I was talking about the ‘currently online’ thing)
(Ah. I'm too lazy to go to desktop site mode rn so i have no idea how much people are online rn)
(Lmao, feel that)
RinRin stepped out of the void into the camp and immediately noticed a plethora of plates, one panicked Franziska, and an excess of strange magic. As if in response to his recognition, he was greeted by a splitting headache and pain that racked his entire body. He fell to his knees, shocked by the assault of his senses, which seemed to be coming from the magic. He fell on his side, trying to hold on to his consciousness. He coated himself in a weak mind shield, but it only dulled the pain. He forced himself to one knee, then the other, then finally his feet and slowly made his way over to the group. "I- agh…" he said. "I need to explain something. Wizard lady, can you… Mm… Can you do magic to fix this?" he asked. His knees were wobbling, forcing him to sit or fall. He chose to sit. "Rexa can… Help. Rexa!" he called out. His cat appeared next to him. "Forest magic… Seems to affect me worse. Need… Something to ease it if I'm going to… Aah… Explain. You got anything miss witch doctor?" he smiled weakly, before clutching his head again, his appearance shimmering with Rinshen, but this time it wasn't malicious. Just a side effect of the pain he was in.
(the hole dissapeared)
(badabing badaboom badabop)
(i reversed it)
