"I said I'd take care of it!" Blake yelled, terrified for Ace's health. He pinned his brother down, allowing the nurses to reconnect the wires. "I'm sorry, man. I'm sorry, okay? I know you hate me, but I can't let you do this." Blake felt a tear roll down his cheek. "Get him back on pain meds. Knock him out if you have to." Blake snapped at the nurses.
Frankie watched everything unfold. She had no idea what to do and just stood there gawking as Ace screamed and struggled defiantly and Blake snapped demandingly at the nurses. She back toward the door and tripped over a wire, falling on her butt where she scooted backward as fast as she could, pushing herself to her feet and running. She simply ran.
"We'll take it from here." A doctor dragged Blake off Ace. He couldn't bring himself to meet his brother's eyes. Instead he dashed off after Frankie. Screaming her name at the top of his lungs in the hallways, trying to find her. "FRANKIE! FRANKIE, PLEASE!" He was running out of breath and his body shook, racked with sobs. "Frankie, please." His whispered, slumping down in defeat against a wall.
(GUYS GUYS I HAVE TO LEAVE IN LIKE TEN MINUTES)
Meanwhile, just a little bit outside the building, Frankie had also slumped against the wall. Out of breath, tears streamed down her face. The memories of her father and Blake and Ace's situation were overwhelming her. All she had ever wanted was to grow up with her caring father and mother, meet the boy of her dreams and have her happily ever after. As she grew up she realized the terrifying truth. Life isn't a fairy tale.
You can't want you can never have, Thorfin. You are a solider. That's what you were trained for and that's what you are. No matter what happens you will always be a soldier. Commander Ryker's voice echoed in Blake's head. He was shaking uncontrollably, wings wrapped around himself in some kind of futile attempt at protection. You blew your shot, Thorfin! You threw it out! Get back to the barracks! The voice ordered. Blake looked down at himself. He was wearing combat boots, black pants, and a black shirt with a bulletproof vest on, hidden by the jacket he wore. He looked like a soldier. He looked out of place here. You were always worthless. Blake dipped his head in acknowledgment of the voice. "That dragon will do a lot more good than me." He murmured quietly, clenching his fists with resolve. And with that he matched his way to the exit. Blake would free Zodiac, or die trying.
"NO! NO!" Ace struggled, sobbing, "ZODIAC! ZODIAC!" he punched a nurse and ran towards the door, getting caught by another nurse who stabbed him with a needle, "NO! ZODIAC!" Ace held onto his shoulder, where the needle had hit, and ran out the door, slamming into walls and desks because he didn't have his glasses. His mouth had a ready stream of blood coming out and Ace made his way to the exit before promptly collapsing right in front of Blake.
(Guys I have to go. I'll be back (hopefully) by Sunday afternoon. Please keep Dani, Mackenzie, and Sabine active for me.)
"Ace?! How did you- never mind." Blake scooped Ace in his arms, alarmed at the amount of blood pouring out of his mouth. He was far from the hospital. Too far for just running. Ace was a lot heavier than Frankie, but Blake ran and leapt into the air anyways, speeding like a bullet as fast as he could back to the hospital.
(I can stay for a little longer.)
(bye Natasha! We will miss you untill Sunday!))
(This whole thing is making me cry)
(Noo Natasha come back!!!)
Macha shook her head vigorously. “You stayed alive. That’s more than I could ever hope for.”
"Dani? Who is this?" Sky whispered, watching Macha and the newcomer talking excitedly.
Macha grabbed Sabine by the hand, pulling her towards Sky and Dani. She couldn’t stop grinning.
Dani smiled. "That's my cousin Sabine. She and Macha were good friends awhile back."
Sabine nodded at Macha. "It's really good to finally see you again. And Dani tells me you have a boyfriend?" She asked teasingly.
Macha stopped, blushing. “Um…” Her face said it all.
Sabine laughed. "Omg so it's true! That's awesome!"
"Blake? I…want…to..see…Zodiac." Ace opened his eyes, struggling to get the words out.
;(no Ace!!!)
Macha blushed again. “He’s really cute.”, she mumbled, flooded with worry for Ace once again.
"I know, I know. I'll get her for you, okay? I swear it." Blake fussed over Ace, not allowing a nurse to get close to them until Blake had delicately set him down in bed again, gently wiping the blood off his chin.
Ace touched his stomach, which was bleeding through the bandages, "Promise me. Promise you'll get her and promise you'll stay safe."
"Oh. Cool!" She said, smiling.
;(no Ace!!!)
Macha blushed again. “He’s really cute.”, she mumbled, flooded with worry for Ace once again.
(Ace winks, I'm more than cute, I'm sexy.)

OMG I just fell off my bed!!!
Sabine smiled. She looked at Dani. "Something happen to him?" Knowing that all to familiar look in her friend's eyes. Dani nodded. "He'll be fine, the doctors are fixing him up. Though it would be a lot easier for him if he wasn't so darn stubborn!" Sabine laughed. "Sounds like you found the right one Macha." She teased. "Now you two can be stubborn together."
