@Oakie Dokie
"Did you not hear anything I told you when we met!?" Aspen retorted, falling to the floor. "I don't want them."
"Did you not hear anything I told you when we met!?" Aspen retorted, falling to the floor. "I don't want them."
(okay so I'm just going to pop in now because yeah)
Ender strolled into the coffee shop, expecting calm and quiet, but instead walked into raised voices and a seemingly uncomfortable situation. He stopped and observed, a bit confused.
Jay gruffed, pulling Aspen up to stand straight by the collar of his shirt, glaring into the guy's eyes. "Aspen," he pushed his shoulder firmly against the wall and kissed him in a way that could only be described as angrily, but he really meant it. "Get your cute ass back out there, and impress your mom. She might be a b** sometimes, but she loves you."
(I'm sorry but this is perfect omgg)
"Fine," Aspen replied, hot and red, angry and blushing. He stormed out of the bathroom in a silent blaze of anger and passion and made his way back to his mother. But, seeing a customer, he quickly changed directions and motioned Jay to distract her while he took the next order. "Hello, sorry for the wait. May I interest you in our flavour of the day?"
(I just literally laughed out loud at that omg)
(you're welcome *bows dramatically *)
Ender blinked, spotting a person walking out from the bathroom. Was he the one that sounded like he was upset? "Um, I… guess?"
"Coming right up, then!! Feel free to have a seat." Aspen whisked around behind the counter, making the drink and hoping his mom wouldn't see.
"Okay, thanks." He sat down at a table, tapping his fingers and thinking. "Wait what's the flavor of the day?" he asked, realizing that he had no idea what he just ordered.
"It's just a mocha, no need to worry…" Aspen replied, looking at the guy for the first time. "Do I know you?"
"I don't think so?" He said, now even more confused. "I just moved here a few days ago."
Jay returned to Sarah, smiling reassuringly. "Upset stomach. Sucks, but hey, it happens." Not his best work. Man, he really wished Aspen hadn't said that stuff; but it was too late, they'd come up with a JayxOyoyo breakup story later. "How do you feel about his accomplishments this far? If my mom were here, well, she'd be prouder of him." he chuckled endearingly.
(also what are Oyoyo, Sarah, and Jay doing? Idk I'm kind of lost sorry)
"Oh, he's… Special, alright," Sarah muttered. "sometimes I blame myself for the way he is today. He's an absolute mess! He's still an intern at the courthouse, did you know? It never took me that long to get noticed."
~
"Oh. Well, welcome!! I'd love to get to know you. Here's your coffee, that'll be $5.50."
(Sarah is Aspen's mom. Oyoyo stormed out because Aspen and Jay lied about Jay and Oyoyo being married, and Aspen's mom doesn't know that Aspen works at his own coffee shop(?) so Jay is trying to keep her from noticing.)
(when I can't remember if I chose the name Ember or Ender)
Ember smiled at him, taking the coffee. "Thanks, I'd like to get to know you too. You take debit, right?"
(Aspen's parents want him to be an attorney and they're dissapointed he isnt one yet)
"Yes, sir."
Jay already felt the spite boiling up in his stomach, "Well, he certainly inherited many of your looks, but it's hard to pass on flawless," He sat at the table, tapping his fingers against the table. "You've both got nice butts," He made it so she might wonder if he was interested in her, or her son, and began to feel careless. He almost wanted her to know. At least, that this guy, might be gay and might also be the bigger mess. (I had to. WHOOPSIE)
(okay, thank you lol. I'm still slightly confused on what they're talking about, but I'm sure I'll catch up)
Ember handed him a debit card and sipped his coffee, but couldn't remember if he even deposited his check into his account yet. If the debit card didn't go through, it didn't matter, because he had a ten dollar bill in his pocket.
(Jay is trying to prompt Sarah to say she's proud of her son. Then he decided to technically insult her.)
(oh my good gawd this is getting gOOD)
"Oh?" Sarah replied, smirking and scooting closer to Jay. "Well, thank you for noticing…" She unbuttoned the top button of her blouse and poked his nose.
~
Aspen frantically motioned for Jay to shut up, blushing at his words but cringing at his mother's reply.
(I'm hyper-ventilating OAHGHHAHSHH)
(Okay lol thank you. Sorry if I keep asking for explanations)
(It's not a problem lol!)
Jay tried not to look visibly surprised, though he was a little disgusted by her play. "Well, Sarah, calm down, you're married!" He chuckled playfully, spinning his own brass rings, "Besides, I'm married to my profession." he winked at her, sending a shocked eye to his counterpart behind the bar. Get over here! Stop this madness!
