@Natasha
Ari shook her head. "Sorry kid. That doesn't work here. You have to have some way to defend yourself. Monsters won't just leave you alone."
Ari shook her head. "Sorry kid. That doesn't work here. You have to have some way to defend yourself. Monsters won't just leave you alone."
"Now, that's my kind of fighter," Lewis said, quite pleased that someone else understood what it was like to want to wield a weapon with the mind rather than the body.
(For some reason this site is having issues, so I'm doing my best to keep up, but we'll see.)
"I like to fight using my powers, but I can manage with a bow and daggers," Sienne signed. She was glad she was claimed almost immediately after she arrived. She had later learned the Hermes Cabin was super crowded. Sienne never really liked cramped spaces.
(Yeah, I'm having some troubles with the website too.)
"Powers?" Lewis asked. He paused for a moment, then continued. "You're quite new here. A lot of people who have been here for years never develop special powers, so that's something…"
Sienne shrugged, "People have told me that before, I guess I just had lots of determination and a goal I had to complete," she signed.
Lewis gave a halfhearted smile. "I guess so. I've always wondered if I'll ever have powers. I'm almost an adult, and yet I have nothing. You would think, with my mother being goddess of magic and all, that I'd at least be able to pull a rabbit out of a hat. I hope she's not disappointed."
"You'll have your day," Sienne signed, "the way this is happening, it's almost like strangers started role-playing together," she playfully smiled, "If only things went as well as those. Then everyone would have a 'happily ever after," her smile turned sad, "If only."
Ari smiled. Then she gasped. "I have an idea. Want to prank some of the campers?? That's what we did when I got here four years ago. I haven't done it for a while though."
"That sounds great! Who should we prank?" Sienne was excited to have made new friends so quickly.
Lewis felt his heart twist with sorrow as he remembered his little sister and how she perished at the hands of a monster before she even knew of her godly heritage. "If only," he repeated sadly.
Upon hearing Ari's suggestion, he perked up just a little.
"What did you have in mind, exactly? If living in the Hermes cabin has taught me anything, it's how to appreciate a good prank."
It was as if they had known each other for a while. Miles felt a little out of place. "How about that red cabin? We could make it super neat."
Lewis smirked. "Sure, if you're willing to deal with the consequences. Their reactions would be priceless, but if they knew it was us, we could easily all be beaten to a pulp."
"Then we don't let them know it was us, easy!" Sienne signed, "They won't be able to hear us, anyway!" Sienne paused, "Oh, wait. Never mind, they could hear us…"
"Umm, alright. Who lives in there?" Miles says, looking at the cabin. "Is that a boar head above their door?
"If I remember from my introduction to the camp, that should be the Ares Cabin, right?" she signed then looked at Lewis to make sure she was right.
"The children of Ares, the god of war, live there. But honestly, if you'd rather take the easy way out, we could just target the Aphrodite cabin. But I suppose they can be quite uncivil, too. Gods, if they found out, they'd be cursing us… and perhaps ripping out hair. Let me tell you, those kids are vicious in their own way, too." Lewis explained.
"Let's take a risk and do the Ares Cabin!" Sienne wanted a challenge, so the Ares Cabin seemed like the way to go.
"Or both," Lewis replied, "It would be a mess. A beautiful mess. They'll assume it was the Hermes kids. Hopefully…"
"I think a blue eye is better than losing our hair." Miles says. "So let's prank the Ares kids."
(Can I join?)
(Hi! I don't see why not!) Lewis nodded firmly, and got to thinking about what they could possibly do.
(I’m gonna go for now, the website is being really buggy, so I can barely post anything. Hope it gets better tomorrow!)
Ari snickered. "Yeah, the Ares kids. I have a score to settle with them, so I will do it gladly. Anything in mind? I can burst their bathroom's water pipes. That will be fun."
