"You okay… I don't know your name?" Miles says, looking at the girl sitting on the ground.
"You okay… I don't know your name?" Miles says, looking at the girl sitting on the ground.
(Who? Ari or Ashlyn?)
(Ari. I didn't see yours, sorry)
(No, it's fine. They were both sitting, so I was a little confused)
Ari looked up. "Oh-right. My name's Arianna, but everyone calls me Ari. And you?"
"Miles." he answers. He looks around for Danni and Viva, but they're still not there. "I think I'm going to start painting. Anyone wanna join?"
"I'll go with you." Ari stood up. "I love painting."
Sienne looked over and saw Miles and Ari get up and move over to the Ares Cabin. Sienne ran over and asked, "What are we doing?" because she wasn't able to read their lips from where she was sitting.
"Painting the cabin." Ari replied.
"Ok! Do we need more paintbrushes?" Sienne asked.
"Let's do this!" Miles said, looking between the two girls.
"One sec, we need brushes," Sienne quickly shadow traveled to her house again and grabbed the two biggest brushes she could find and shadow traveled back. She handed one to Ari, "Ok, we're good now," Sienne signed.
"Now let's do this!" Miles walked to the Ares cabin, hoping the girls were behind him.
Sienne walked right behind him and dipped the brush in the can as soon as it was opened and started painting. She made sure to keep light on her feet, hoping she wouldn't make any noise.
Ari followed them, painting swiftly and silently.
Lewis, who had missed out on much of the planning, grabbed a paintbrush and offered to help. He spattered a little bit of pink paint on his glasses, but continued working. He wanted everything to do with causing mischief, and got much joy out of pulling a prank; he was actually quite bored recently.
After about half-an-hour, Sienne had finished about half the wall and Ari was helping Lewis with another one, she must have been a professional. She couldn't see how much Miles had been able to paint since she was on the opposite side of the building, but she was sure there was no sign of Viva and Danni yet. With how much time it was taking for them to get back, Sienne thought they were probably trying to hunt down a real rabbit.
Miles painted slowly, making sure not to mess up. He looked over at everyone else, who was painting loads of different ways. It annoyed him, but he didn't say anything about it. It's a prank, so it doesn't really matter if it's neat, but he still liked it looking nice.
Arianna took great pride in her work, happy to put her expertise to work. Well—kind of. It wasn't like she was painting intricate flowers and butterflies, but she was painting.
Another half hour passed and most everyone had finished their wall except for Miles, who was painting painfully slow, "Do you want help?" Sienne signed, hoping she could speed up the painting process.
"I'm going really slow, aren't I?" Miles jokes, looking up at Sienne and smiling.
Lewis looked at Sienne and signed, "I think we should paint a big heart over the doorway. I've got maybe just enough paint from an old project."
"That's a great idea, Lewis!" Sienne signed, "Miles, you keep working, Lewis, you and Ari can paint the heart, and I'll try to find a fake bunny head before the others get back with a real one."
Ari gasped. "Ooh ooh! Could we?" Despite all the hard things Arianna had been through, she still acted as though she had experienced the best life had to offer.
"If we got a real bunny, we could let it loose in their cabin." Miles offered. "Or at least give them each a stuffed one."
