There was something he wanted, but instead he just smiled and said "I'm okay, you have a great day at work!"

"Thanks- you drive safe alright?" She nodded and turned to leave.

"I will you too Jo!" tomorrow he would let her know, he was just gonna have a real busy day today.

She made it out the door towards her car and turned on the music. "Alright Jo, time to head home." She smiled to herself.

Joanna wiped down the counters of the closed bar. "Alrighty is that everything?" She called to her boss. "Looks like it- have a good night Joanna." He waved as Joanna made her way out the door.

Tempest was starting to close down the studio, for it was quite late at night at this point and he still had the whole drive back, dear lord I should clean the studio but…effort

Joanna was driving back and saw Tempest's car still a time the studio. She slowed down and decided to go check on him. She pulled into a parking spot and came to the door. "Temp?"

Tempest didn't quite hear her, so he continued to lock everything up and clean the major trash around the studio

She went in and wandered around. "Tempest?" She called again.

"Joanna?" Tempest called out as he latched the lock to the main office area he kept all the bills and paperwork in

"Yup- it's me." She smiled and waved. She had her hair pulled up in a ponytail and she wore a black skirt and a white button up shirt. "How are you doing?"

"good just finished closing up the studio." He responded "how was work?"

"Fine- it was a lot of people though. I forgot it was a big game tonight." She yawned rubbing her face. "Can I help you clean up?"

"I'm practically done for what I was gonna do, thank you for checking on me though…are you tired? I could drive you home." He offered

She waved his offer off. "It's fine- I'm fine. It's all fine. I'll be fine." She repeated over and over.

"Well alright I'm gonna head home." Temp says as he opens the front door, it being the last unlocked door.

She nodded and slowly followed him out. "…yeah, maybe…" she yawned again. "Maybe riding with you isn't a bad idea…" she sighed rubbing her face. "Would you mind?"

"Not at all Jo." He said, opening his passenger side for her

She smiled and locked her car and slid into the seat. "Thanks." She yawned pulling a knee up to her chest:

"no problem." he started up his car and pulled out, starting on the way to their apartment

"So you sing too right?" She asked quietly.

"I've been told I can." he said as he turned down a road

"I think you sound lovely. Even though all I heard was through the walls of the apartment." She chuckled a little.

Tempest flushed heavily when she said that "th-thank you Jo."
