Daus laughed and took off after Erikos, sidling up next to the other after a few moments since running had always been one of his strong suits. He nudged the other playfully, grinning brightly as he continued to run towards the water.
Daus laughed and took off after Erikos, sidling up next to the other after a few moments since running had always been one of his strong suits. He nudged the other playfully, grinning brightly as he continued to run towards the water.
"Not so fast, twiggy!" Erikos shouted. Grinning madly he held a hand out, ocean water shooting over to grab Erikos. He laughed as he was tugged towards the ocean, landing in the waves a few seconds before Daus
"Erikos!" Daus shouted, laughing as he ran into the water moments after Erikos. He splashed the other and took off in the other direction, a dorky smile crossing his lips as he ran through the water.
"Get your twiggy little ass back here!" Erikos shouted, grinning as he chased after him. He almost tripped a few times, but quickly found that Daus was faster than him
"Come and get me!" Daus shouted, looking over towards Erikos and laughing every time the other seemed to trip in the water. He slowed down a bit, splashing the other as he slowed to more of a jog.
Erikos sped up, running as quickly as he could. As soon as Daus slowed down he caught up, and with a loud roar he jumped at Daus, sending them both crashing into the water
Daus made a small noise of surprise as Erikos slammed into him, before his breath was quickly replaced with salt water as he fell under the surface of the water. After a few moments, a broad, competitive smile crossed his face as he attempted to push himself up from under Erikos.
"Not so fast, twiggy!" Erikos shouted, grinning madly as he flopped down on top of Daus. He laid on top of him, manipulating the water so that it helped keep him on top of Daus
"You're heavy!" Daus shouted as he pushed himself up for a few short moments before the water pulled him down again. His cheeks flushed faintly at how Erikos was practically on top of him, though he pushed the thought away quickly.
"Nah, just cheating," Erikos chuckled. Eventually he let Daus go, only to turn and dive into the clear waters of the ocean. "Catch me if you can, twiggy!" he called
"Oh, I definitely can," Daus taunted as he pushed himself up, brushing a few wet strands of hair out of his face as he ran towards where Erikos had dove in. After a few moments, he dove in after Erikos as well once the water had gotten too deep.
Erikos was now a good ways away, and he stopped to give Daus a few minutes to catch up. "C'mon Daus, I'm not even moving!" he called with a laugh
"Did I forget to mention that I'm terrible at swimming?" Daus called back, chuckling as he swum after Erikos at a moderate pace. A grin crossed his face at the sight of the other man, brightening his features as he continued to make his way over towards them.
"Yes, and it's pretty obvious because you swim like an aquatic snail," Erikos called. He turned onto his back, letting the small waves lap at his body as he floated there
Daus laughed at Erikos' comment, finally making it to the other man as they floated on their back in the water. He splashed Erikos a bit before swimming around them, smiling as he dove under the water's surface every now and then.
"You look like a shark," Erikos pointed out, chuckling as he watched him. Suddenly, an idea came to mind. "Hey, you wanna do something cool?" he asked, grinning widely as he did so
"What's your definition of cool, exactly?" Daus asked skeptically as he fixed his amber eyes on Erikos in question. He chuckled a bit at their wide grin, seemingly loving the way the other always tended to be smiling.
"Try breathing underwater," Erikos said, flashing a grin as he looked at Daus. He knew how to make it so people could breathe underwater. It was a trick he had recently figured out how to do
"Are you sure? Because I'm pretty sure I would suffocate if I did that," Daus answered, though he shrugged as he dove back under the surface, hoping that Erikos knew what he was doing.
Erikos grinned, turning over and diving down after him. He waved a hand, and bubbles appeared around both of their heads. Erikos took a deep breath under the water to show Daus that it was okay
"You look like you're wearing a fishbowl on your face," Daus chuckled after he took a deep breath of air in, only realizing how immature his comment was after he actually said it. He smiled broadly and looked around underwater, seemingly excited to be able to breathe underwater.
"And you look like you got trapped in a soap bubble," Erikos shot back good-naturedly. He did a slow cartwheel through the water before diving a bit further down. He used the rocks as handholds, going farther out to see until he came upon the beginnings of a coral reef
Daus swam after Erikos, laughing lightly at the small cartwheel Erikos made underwater. He swam after the other, grinning even more as he picked up a few stray seashells and rocks strewn across the sandy floor, his smile broadening when he noticed the coral reef as well.
(lmao, I'm trying to come up with some roleplay idea for a new ghost character that I made, though I have no ideas at all)
(oof that seems to happen specifically with my ghost characters lmao)
Erikos swam a little further, fish swimming by as he did so. There were even a few small sharks here and there, which seemed harmless despite the fact that they were sharks. A stray octopus swam by, its colors changing rapidly as it passed just in front of Erikos
