What are boggins? Lucas stayed quiet while they argued, his heart pounding. Would they really let him go? Or would the girl manage to dissuade the Doctor?

"My ship, my choice. Go to the library or something and leave me alone if you don't like it." the Doctor said. "So, what would you like to see?" he asked. "All of time and space, you're free to decide." the Doctor grinned. "By the way, I never caught your name." he said.
"I'm… Lucas. I don't know where I'd want to go, though. What would you recommend?" Lucas was turned back towards them at this point, fidgeting with the flashlight.
"Well, there we this place I was always going to take Donna, it's this beautiful little planet called…." he trailed off. Thinking about Donna was painful. "Well, you might not want to go there. Oh, I know, we could always go and see the Alignment Of Exodor! Seventeen galaxies in perfect unison! How does that sound?" he asked, giddy with excitement.
(Are you still here?)
(Hello?)
(Hi sorry had to eat lunch and stuff)
Well, he definitely seems to like this Alignment thing… "Sure, we can go to the Alignment of Exodor. I dunno how long it takes to get there or what's there once we arrive, but you know… details."
"It'll take barely any time at all, don't worry!" he grinned. "Allons-y!" the Doctor pulled a lever and flicked a few switches and they were off. The room jolted and shook around while the TARDIS was in flight, but stopped once they were at their destination. "Don't open the doors just yet, I need to extend the air shell." he said, entering a few commands on the keyboard, which made a pleasant ding every time a key was pressed. "All done, take a look." he said, opening the doors to a magnificent scene before them.
"Wow…" Lucas looked outside in awe. He had never seen anything like this before, so beautiful or mysterious. It was eerie, sure, but breathtaking at the same time.
"Actually, interestingly enough, directly in the center of those galaxies is the only colonized star in the universe. It's really an amazing place, all things considered." he said. One trip was probably enough, but since the star was in The Alignment itself it was technically still one trip.
"People can live on stars? I thought they were too hot?" Lucas looked up at the Doctor, confused.
"Well, it is quite hot, but they have this amazing cooling system that can support life there. It's really quite breathtaking, the star." he said .
How would that even work? You can't put a cooling system on a star! They're not even solid! Lucas looked back over at the galaxies and the star that supposedly sustained life.
"Would you like to see it?" the Doctor asked.
"Are we allowed to go there?" Lucas asked quizzically, looking between the Doctor and the star. "Is it even safe?"
"Of course it's safe, people have been living there for centuries! It's a hotspot for tourists, quite literally in some cases."
(Are you still there?)
(Hello?)
"I mean is it safe for humans? I'm pretty sure human bodies can't withstand the heat of a star."
"As I said! Cooling systems! It's still quite hot though, so sunscreen and a water bottle is recommended." the Doctor said. Susan rushed back into the console room, her face showing quite clearly signs of panic and worry. "Doctor, it's Harry. He's having a sort of fit, he keeps asking for you!" she panted, out of breath from running through long, twisting corridors. "Lucas, I'll have to finish this conversation later. Just stay here with Susan, will you?" he asked, running off. Susan sat down in one of the chairs, massaging her temples. No doubt this kid- Lucas, apparently- was going to ask questions.
Lucas watched the Doctor run off quizzically before glancing at Susan out of the corner of his eye. She clearly didn't want to be asked anything for the moment, so he didn't. Lucas sat down on the ground silently and waited for the Doctor to return.
"I know that you have questions. Ask away." she said. Her tone was that of a teacher permitting her students to chat freely in class. While she was reluctant to allow it, she decided to take a risk and allow it.
"Is… is he alright? Whoever Harry is?" Lucas asked meekly, looking off in the direction that the Doctor had run off in. I hope no one's seriously injured or anything…
"That isn't actually his name, it was just a fake name-Harold Saxon was his full pseudonym, by the way-that he used while hiding out on Earth. Harry's actual name it the Master, just like how the Doctor calls himself the Doctor. But I won't call him that, so I use the name Harry. And no, he isn't alright. He's mentally and physically unstable, but since he's an old friend of the Doctor's the Doctor is… sort of taking care of him. And I've already said too much at this point, so don't ask anymore questions." she said, her cheeks turning red out of embarrassment. "Besides, it doesn't concern you."
Lucas nodded, deciding not to pry anymore. He turned his eyes to the ground and fidgeted with his flashlight. The technology for the flashlight seemed so crude in comparison to everything he had seen today. Lucas hoped that Harry, or the Master, or whatever his name was would be alright. He wasn't sure if he could handle anymore death in his life at this point, honestly, what with Claus and his mother already gone. No matter what he told himself he couldn't help but feel like, at the very least, Claus's death was partially his fault. He hadn't been able to dissuade him, he didn't go with him… if he had gone too, at least they could have died together.
