(Just casually beats up a giant dog XD)
(embers just fucking drowning 🤣)
(XD this is a beautiful scene-)
(KIN! YA GIRLFRIEND IS DYING 😭🤣)
(XD HE’S GONNA REALIZE THAT SOON-)
Cerberus growled, digging his claws into Kin's arm. He kicked Kin in the chest once, twice, a few time before being slammed into the ground. "You children should have never escaped. We cannot have you discovering the secret." He was slammed into the ground once more, blood dripping out of his mouth. "I will be back. YOU WILL ALL—" Cerberus was knocked unconscious before he could finish his sentence
Bane tried reaching for Ember, doing his best as his wound hindered him. He grabbed the small wolf, pulling her to safety before spiting out more blood. These were wounds caused by a hellhound. They weren't going to heal nicely. Nor did natural healing abilities close them. Bane collapsed on the bank, rasping for a solid breath. Why? Why him? Why did his father try to kill his friends? This couldn't be happening. He closed his eyes, crying.
Kin scowls, tossing Cerberus into the river. He then looks to Ember and Bane. He gasps and rushes towards them, “Oh gods-“ Tears were in his eyes. He didn’t even realize he was bleeding. He didn’t care about the large bruise already forming on his chest.
Kin quickly attempts to patch up Banes wounds to the best of his abilities, then tends to Ember, helping her cough up any water she could have swallowed.
(grins that bruise on his chest is gonna be a problem later-)
Bane tried his best to breathe. He shook, the cold water shocking his body. Pressure pushed down on his chest, and he started to heave. Tears streamed down his face. The bleeding wounds on his neck slowed, eventually ceasing thanks to Kin's efforts. However, bruising still formed around his eye. What was the point in that? He wasn't sure. Bane's heart banged against his chest, a buzzing roaring in his ears. Little thoughts consumed him. He was useless. He was odd. He was nothing but a screw-up. Bane's face grew pale, his skin becoming clammy. This was not a great day.
Ember struggled to sit up throwing up the water she had previously swallowed, blood dripping from her face from the nasty gash that started from her forehead and over her right eye moving down to the bottom of her cheek. Her entire body ached and she couldn't see out of her right eye, she was scared and could barely breathe she felt kin's presence which helped her slightly but she was still in a great deal of pain.
Kin whimpers, hugging Bane and Ember. He tried his best to comfort these poor beings. They needed it.
It seemed like Kin’s body had shut down, allowing him to help his friends and not worry about himself. But he was slowly growing weaker. Kin closes his eyes, still not noticing the large gash in his arm. He gently applies pressure to some of Banes still open wounds, while gently cleaning and healing the gash on Embers face. “It will be okay…” He murmurs.
(We now have even more traumatized kiddos 😭)
(XD yup- kin’s about to get bad too-)
(Liv ima let you take the next one I may pass out I'm not sure.)
(Same-)
(I might just wait till tmrw morning)
(That works)
Bane shifted uncomfortably. Kin’s touch was warm — but anything was warm when you were sopping wet. The warmth spread throughout his skin, making him feel tingly. Even through his crushing fear, he smiled. Bane’s hair clung to his head, trapping the water Cerberus doused him in. “I’m sorry.” He rasped. His heart settled. However, it still beat quickly. Minor cuts he gained from being thrown healed fast. Bane grabbed Kin’s arm, bringing attention to the large gash. He stared at it, tilting his head. His friend told him about ways to heal a wound without medicines. “Please.” He rasped. “Do not worry about my wounds. They will heal on their own. Let me help you.” Bane struggled to sit up. Planting both hands on the sandy bank, he hoisted himself up. The hound groaned. His left wrist still burned, the wounds refusing to close. Unfortunately, a deep wound from a hellhound would bleed longer than normal.
Bane stood. He was unstable, his legs wobbly. The hound almost fell over a few times, but ultimately stumbled along. He couldn’t get far. He found a few yarrow flowers near a few boulders. Bane picked the plants by the root, some surrounding moss, and rocks. He stumbled back over to the vicious scene, plopping down. Bane places the yarrow on a flat rock, and using a large, heavy rock, smashed the flowers. Roots and all. This cause him great pain, but it didn’t matter. Once satisfied with his poultice. Leaning forward, he cupped water into his hands and washed it over the wound. Next, he spread the yarrow poultice all over the wound. Bane’s friend told him yarrow naturally promoted healing. Finally, he places a layer of moss over it, protecting the wound. Unfortunately, he couldn’t secure it.
After taking care of Kin, Bane flopped on the ground. The wounds on his wrist puffed up, turning into ugly scars. “Thank you, Kin. For everything you do.” He murmured, closing his eyes. The sun hurt them.
Kin tried to get Bane to sit back down, talking about how he’ll only make his wounds worse. But then Kin noticed his arm. Kin winced and looked back at the hound who had already started placing some healing remedies into his gash.
Kin cringes from his slow growing pain, closing his eyes. He then looked back up once Bane laid down. Kin nods, “Y-you’re…welcome…” He coughs, bringing his hand up to his mouth. After a moment, he pulls his hand away, seeing his own blood covering his hand. His eyes widen. No… This was bad. Blood dripped from Kin’s mouth, and his breathing slowly started to become harder and harder to manage.
Bane simply shook his head. Hellhounds were the most resilient creatures. He’d be fine in the long run. “Your wounds will only grow worse. Mine will plateau.” Even if the ones of his wrist and neck looked gross and crusty, they eventually would heal over. The hound looked defeated. He curled upon himself, whimpering.
Opening an eye, he noticed the blood dripping out of Kin’s mouth. He didn’t seem alarmed, but quietus was swift. Sometimes, it could surpass the hounds senses. Bane sat up, tilting his head. He did witness Kin getting kicked in the chest. Hard. “Are your ribs broken?” He couldn’t stop the whine leaving his throat. Bane didn’t know how to fix this. “Rest. Please.” What to do? Only 1/3 of them had medical experience and even then, no one could fix blood pooling into the chest.
Kin coughs again, the pain in his chest slowly becoming more and more prominent. He hisses softly and lays on his side, attempting to stop himself from choking on his own blood. “Y-yes…” He mutters, closing his eyes. He knew he wouldn’t die if he did everything right. If he stayed still, if he made sure not to drown in his blood.
Kin keeps his breathing steady for the most part, curling up slightly. “If…something happens…go on without me…” He mumbles.
(I swear if Kin dies—)
(XD maybe 😏/j)
(I will lovingly unleash wrath upon you if that happenes)
(smirks evily you’re lucky I love him too much- but there MIGHT be a scare-)
