Ember nodded her head, standing up to find the flowers Bane wanted. She stumbled around the clearing, looking for the star-shaped flower. She wanted to stay by Kin's side, but if this was going to help him, she would do anything. Ember had moved a few feet away from Bane, finding the elusive flowers by a rock. She picked a few, the fuzzy stems rough against her hands. She trudged back over to Bane, laying the flowers by his side before tending to Kin's side.
Kin makes a face of pain and discomfort, his body shaking slightly. He couldn’t do anything right now…he was trapped in his own skin. He slowly looked to Ember and smiled weakly, though the rest of him stayed paralyzed.
Bane smiled, receiving the plants graciously. "Thank you." He grabbed the flowers, tearing the petals off the stems. He looked around, spotting the large rocks he'd used earlier. Perfect. Grabbing the rocks, Bane laid the petals on the flat surface. He lifted the second rock in the air, striking it down upon the petals. He ground the fowlers into a mush. Borage would help with Kin's overexertion, at least Bane hoped so. He didn't know much when it can to the science of herbal healing. Bane looked down at Kin, pushing his tongue against his lower lip. "Can you open your mouth?" He questioned the boy.
Kin looks at Bane, then attempts to open his mouth. He opens it slightly, blood slowly spilling out. He could hardly feel it, but he knew it was there. He shudders slightly, just knowing how horrific the scene could look to the poor people watching him.
Bane blinked, grimacing slightly. This wasn't a pleasant sight. So he did his best to scrap the mushed petals and their juices into his mouth. "You can close it now. Let's keep the blood inside your body." He mumbled half-jokingly. At this rate, they wouldn't be moving for a while. Bane feared about Obelisk finding the three and dragging them back to the facility. He whimpered, the squeaky nose getting louder as it came from his throat. His anxiety skyrocketed, trapping the large hound in his own head. Bane took deep breaths, his heart pounding against his chest. Nothing would happen to them, they would be fine.
Kin smiles slightly and closes his mouth. He honestly thought the joke was funny…but if he were to laugh, he was afraid he’d only bleed more. So he just layed there and slowly closed his eyes. His pain soon went away, leaving a tingling feeling all through his body.
Bane patted Kin’s head softly, sitting by Kin’s head. “I am starting to worry. We’ve turned into sitting duck and they will not waste time to snuff us out.” He sighed, anxiety plaguing his mind. His breathing picked up, his hands shaking harshly. Bane closed his eyes, his face growing hot. Everything will be okay. It will be okay. He opened his eyes, sighing. The forest suddenly grew darker.
Kin coughs slightly, “I-I…” pain seers through his chest. Right…no talking just yet. But he needed to…what was he supposed to do. He started to get tired…very tired. Oh no…
Kin’s heart slowed again, followed by his breathing. It was clear that Lady Death was wishing to take him. She wanted to take him from his pain. But he refused to follow her just yet. He tried his best to stay awake, just waiting for this spell to end.
Bane's eye twitched, the surroundings becoming a terrifying, grueling territory. He could see things other could not. The onset of death fell upon him, the putrid sent hitting his nose. Death was upon the horizon, wanting to take the only thing Bane liked, the only thing he cared for. A growl came from deep in his throat, his hellhound abilities hiking up the nth degree. His eyes glowed a blood red, his form shifting. Bane stood, his large paws stepping over Kin as a strange being approached. He snapped at it, his large fangs bared. To Kin and Ember, it seemed as if Bane was riled up over nothing. His tail was lashing back and forth, ears pinned back.
Ember looked at bane, confused and scooted back as he started to growl at the air, she cocked her head before looked down at kin to see what he had thought of the situation unfolding before them. She felt uneasy, she gripped kind hand and her eyes dug into bane. "What are you doing? There's nothing there. "
(This is short loves 😭)
(XD its ok)
Bane let out strong barks, biting at the invisible being, warding death away from Kin's body. His tail lashed about, small fluff of black fur falling upon kin. The being moved away from the hound, and Bane pursuing it. Strings of spit fell from his mouth. He growled at the receding darkness before padding back to his stop by Kin's head. Bane flopped down on the ground, laying his head upon his paws.
Kin slowly started waking up, his eyes opening. He smiles softly at Bane, then closes his eyes again, falling into a deep sleep. Luckily, his breathing and heart rate went back to normal, and soon, comfort washed over Kin. This was a good sign…he was healing.
