Kin coughs slightly, “I-I…” pain seers through his chest. Right…no talking just yet. But he needed to…what was he supposed to do. He started to get tired…very tired. Oh no…
Kin’s heart slowed again, followed by his breathing. It was clear that Lady Death was wishing to take him. She wanted to take him from his pain. But he refused to follow her just yet. He tried his best to stay awake, just waiting for this spell to end.
Bane's eye twitched, the surroundings becoming a terrifying, grueling territory. He could see things other could not. The onset of death fell upon him, the putrid sent hitting his nose. Death was upon the horizon, wanting to take the only thing Bane liked, the only thing he cared for. A growl came from deep in his throat, his hellhound abilities hiking up the nth degree. His eyes glowed a blood red, his form shifting. Bane stood, his large paws stepping over Kin as a strange being approached. He snapped at it, his large fangs bared. To Kin and Ember, it seemed as if Bane was riled up over nothing. His tail was lashing back and forth, ears pinned back.
Ember looked at bane, confused and scooted back as he started to growl at the air, she cocked her head before looked down at kin to see what he had thought of the situation unfolding before them. She felt uneasy, she gripped kind hand and her eyes dug into bane. "What are you doing? There's nothing there. "
(This is short loves 😭)
Bane let out strong barks, biting at the invisible being, warding death away from Kin's body. His tail lashed about, small fluff of black fur falling upon kin. The being moved away from the hound, and Bane pursuing it. Strings of spit fell from his mouth. He growled at the receding darkness before padding back to his stop by Kin's head. Bane flopped down on the ground, laying his head upon his paws.
Kin slowly started waking up, his eyes opening. He smiles softly at Bane, then closes his eyes again, falling into a deep sleep. Luckily, his breathing and heart rate went back to normal, and soon, comfort washed over Kin. This was a good sign…he was healing.
