(Good lord they’re both so adorable)
“I’m truly honored that you think I have been.” Gwen laughed. “I bet it’s overrated anyways.”

(xD
they'll be even more adorable together)
"Agreed." Marla laughed quietly, coming to a stop by the waterfront and motioning to Gwen, who held the packet of bread crumbs.
Gwen released Marla’s arm and tentatively opened the bag of breadcrumbs. She sat down, crossing her legs and scooped some of the breadcrumbs in her palm. The grass around her natural began to grow greener, and a few more dandelions sprouted in the area. “Is this a team effort or divide and conquer?” She asked with a smiling, silencing hoping Marla would choose to sit with her.
Marla plopped down, a light breeze stirring her gauzy shawl. "Oh, definitely a team effort." Her eyes landed on the grass between them, brightening significantly. "It's so cool, how you can do that."
Gwen stared at her in confusion before realizing what she meant. “I actually can’t always do this.” She admitted, a bit sheepish. “My magic is sort of emotion based. It’s all based off of the energy I give off or whatever my professor said last class that I still need to do the reading on…” She trailed off, frowning a bit at the thought of her large textbook.
"Does that mean–" Marla hesitated briefly. "Does that mean you're happy right now? Doing this?"
(oml imagine their first kiss, they're outside and all of a sudden a huge-ass tree shoots up through the ground and pushes them apart lmao)
Gwen smiled and nodded. “Are you kidding? This is awesome.” She picked one of the dandelions and leaned over, tucking it behind Marla’s ear. “I’m converting you to the hipster aesthetic. There’s no escape.” She teased, looking back out at the water,
Marla's eyes widened, her hand flying up to touch the flower. Her smile, which had faltered, returned swiftly, noticeably shyer. "I'm not sure I want to escape, 'hipster aesthetic' sounds better than my normal aesthetic anyways."
“You say that now, but you’ll change you’re mind when you’re dramatically staring out the coffee shop window on a rainy day while some Ed Sheeran song is playing.” Gwen looked off dramatically into the distance. “That is the curse of a hipster.”
(Gwen is killing me, I love her already)
She burst out laughing, the sweet, almost musical sound hanging in the air. Pushing strands of messy platinum hair away from her flushed face, she covered her mouth with her hand in an attempt to stop the fit of giggles, eyes glimmering. In short, a very adorable sight.
(I just saw your comment about the tree growing after they kiss and omg you’re absolutely right lmao)
Gwen couldn’t help but join in on the laughter as well, deciding Marla’s was infectious as it was musical. She silently vowed to make the girl laugh more often. “This is serious! You don’t know what you’re getting into!”
(lmao if only that happened in real life)
Marla drew her knees up, resting her elbows on them, and then her face in her hands. "I mean– look at me," she joked lightly, still blushing. "My aesthetic is creepy fortune teller from the 50's. I need a makeover!"
“I think you pull it off perfectly, but if you insist. I’ll smuggle you some of my flannels.” Gwen was blushing as well, praying that her skin tone managed to hide it. “What’s your favorite color, anyways?”
(I wish!)
(I’m gonna head to bed Topaz! Goodnight! I hope you feel better!)
(gnight, sleep well, and thanks!)
Marla bit down on her lip to keep from emitting a tiny squeak– this beautiful goddess had practically called her cute– and shifted forwards onto her knees. "Periwinkle, AKA extremely pastel indigo."
Gwen nodded, considering this for a moment. “That’s the color my room was painted when I was younger. I like that color too. It’s easy on the eyes.” She let her smile soften as she watched the swans glide on the lake.
(Morning! How’re you feeling today?)
(G’morning
A bit shaky
You?)
Marla blinked, raising her hand to brush the corner of her eye with her fingers. It’s a similar colour to mother’s eyes.. “Yeah.”
(I have a math test next period so stressed atm. I’m sorry you’re still feeling sick!)
“What else can I interrogate you about?” She asked playfully,
(Sorry British, good luck! I’m sure you’ll do great
I’ve recovered, I just got an unsettling PM)
My sexuality. Marla bit the comment back with a secretive smile. “I don’t know, just ask away, I guess.”
(That was rough. And is everything okay with the P.M.? Was it a threat?)
Gwen raised an eyebrow in amusement at the expression on Marla’s face. “You’ll have to give me a few seconds. Ice breakers aren’t my strong suit.”
(Sorry British, but I’m sure it’ll turn out fine
Macha and I have faith in you!
Apparently, I’m an unnatural imperfection of a sin)
“Me neither,” she admitted, winding a lock of platinum hair around her finger.
(Lmao What MCR song did they steal that line from? And thank you, I appreciate the support!)
“Try and guess my favorite color.” Gwen scattered some of the breadcrumbs on the ground, hoping to draw in a swan.
(Lol. Np)
Marla scrunched up her nose in thought, biting the inside of her cheek. “Uh… gold? Orange? Green?”
Gwen’s eyes widened in surprise. “Hold up, hold up. How’d you guess gold on the first try? No one ever manages that.”
Marla blinked, an incredulous grin spreading across her face. "Wait– I got it right? I'm just as surprised as you are!"
