Thorn played with her choker, "I don't go out all that often. I mean I could, but I've never had a reason too. Besides they lock the doors around sunset."

"Girl. There's this thing called sneaking out." Lana grinned mischievously. "We could go catch a movie in the theater. Or go bowling. Or just take a walk."

Thorn grinned, "Do you know what's playing? A movie sounds great."

"Hmm, new Star Wars movie, new Avengers movie, new Deadpool movie," she listed. "I'm sure some others."

"I've heard the new avengers movie is sad," Thorn said, "So the new Star Wars movie? Unless we find something better."

"I'm down with anything," Lana said. "We can focus on actually sneaking out first. Then, we'll figure out the movie."

Thorn nodded, "Any ideas? Because I have none."

“But you would go to the bar right below my apartment,” Kaz said, wiggling his eyebrows playfully as he finished his burger. He took a sip of his beer, smirking lightly as he realized how flustered Vaughn seemed to be

“Only to get drunk as hell. I don’t think Cas wants you around here wearing something like that anyways. He’d kick your ass,” Vaughn responded, biting at the inside of his cheek. He took another bite of his food, taking a few slow breaths after swallowing. Kaz, that bastard. Making me think unruly things, he thought.

Kaz shrugged. “Fair point. Doesn’t mean I can’t get wasted and take someone to bed, then change into something skimpy,” he chuckled. Images of him and Vaughn drunk in his apartment flashed through his mind, causing his smirk to grow a little

“You shouldn’t sleep around with random people, you’re going to get a STD,” Vaughn muttered, frowning softly as he looked back up at Kaz. Oh god, if he was going to keep talking, then he would have to get a lot more drinks.

“I know, I know. That’s why I always top. I have the sense to remember protection,” Kaz chuckled, finishing his beer and gesturing for Cas to bring him another one

“You? Top? Would have never imagined,” Vaughn said. Oh no, did that seem like he had imagined Kaz in that situation, but as a sub? “Not that I’ve imagined- I haven’t,” he added quickly.

Thorn nodded, "Any ideas? Because I have none."

"I haven't been here long enough to scout out ways to escape yet," Lana said with a pensive look. "So we'll have to make it up as we go. You've been here longer. What time do they normally lock the doors, are there security cameras, are there guards?"

Thorn thought for a moment, "They lock the doors around 7 each day, security cameras are at the corners of every hall and if the corridor is especially long one will be in the middle. They're normally not near the bathrooms or rooms so that would be our bet options. And as long as we stay away from the more prison esk side of the hospital guards should be limited."

Lana nodded slowly. "I think our best bet would be to sneak out before seven. The sun will still be out, though. What's the closest building around here? I was kinda…unconscious when I was admitted to the hospital. I really don't know what's around here."

“Suuuure,” Kaz drawled, still smirking as he took a sip of his beer. He could tell there was something going on with Vaughn. He wasn’t quite sure, but he was convinced it had something to do with Vaughn imagining himself hovering over Kaz on a bed somewhere. The thought made him grin, and he took another sip of his beer to avoid laughing

Thorn rubbed her arm at the thought of the sun. It would feel so nice, but it would hurt. She said slowly, "The closest building would be the cafeteria."

"Does it have any west-facing windows? Because if not, we could hide in there until the sunsets," Lana suggested.

Thorn nodded, "I-I think so. I haven't been there a lot since it isn't exactly safe. But I think it does."

"We could hide in…like…a bathroom," Lana laughed at the idea. "Or a closet. Anywhere without windows at all. You can wear like a jacket and some jeans to cover up as much skin as possible. Maybe a hat? Then we make a mad dash to the cafeteria, and hide out in a bathroom until sun down."

“You’re lucky we’re friends, I should wipe that stupid look off your face,” Vaughn said, not quite looks directly at Kaz. More like at the space just around his head. It was all he could do to keep the flush out of his cheeks. He took a bite of his burger, glancing down at the table.

Thorn got up, "I'll see what I can find. And there should be some closets without windows there."

She walked over to her closet. She shut the door behind her as she looked for clothes that would cover her skin. She came out wearing grey jeans, a black hoodie that covered her arms and a majority of her hands, and a mask that covered her mouth and nose, "Do you think this will work?"

“Last time we tried to spar I gave you static shock for a week. That probably wouldn’t work out too well if we did it again,” Kaz chuckled, taking another sip of his beer. He knew he probably shouldn’t be drinking, but after the accident he couldn’t bring himself to care

Lana looked her over critically. "It definitely looks badass. But I don't really know how your allergy works, so fingers crossed." She grinned.

Thorn looked at it, "If the sun touches my skin I start burning up. The outfit should work well, the only part I'm concerned about are my eyes."
