She didn't know manners. Food, was food, and if people judged her then they could suck a ballsack. She wolfed down the burger and patted her stomach. "That. Was a good burger. Better than McDonald's or Burger King."

Pierce chuckled and nodded, "I'm glad you liked it. This diner has some of the best food in the city. Do you have room for dessert?"
"Always." She smiled more now and happily picked up the menu. "The molton lava cake looks really good."
"Oh yes, that's my favorite dessert here. It's amazing." Pierce told her.
She nodded. "Hm. How about we get one and split it? We had a pretty big lunch." She smiled softly.
Pierce smiled back at her, "Sure." The waiter came back over, "Do you lovebirds need anything else?" "One molten lava cake, please." "Oki doke, ill be back with that."
She rolled her eyes. "Next time she calls us love birds I'll sock her one in the eye."
Pierce chuckled lightly, “I won’t stop you, though I do believe she’s just being a tease.”
"Are ya sure? You told her we aren't lovers. She outta try listening. It might help her get some good tips." She said with a huff.
Pierce just smiled at Starla and nodded in agreement.
She dug into her backpack, and got out her phone. "Ah shit…" She muttered as she texted away. "Not fucking again. Look." She packed up her stuff. "Enjoy the molten lava cake, thanks for dinner. And the stars…I've gotta go. I ain't skippin' town yet, but. It'll be a lot sooner than I thought. Stupid crazy ex drug lord boyfriends." She sighed and ran out of the diner.
Pierce stared after her for a few seconds, eyes wide, before throwing enough cash on the table to pay for the meal and tip. He got up and ran out the door after Starla, “Starla wait! I’m coming with you!” He shouted.
The waiter returned to the table a few minutes later and saw the pile of money sitting, “The fuck? Where’d they go?”
"What-why?" She stopped dead in her tracks and turned around, arms crossed. In place of her phone as a throwing knife. She had a few more strapped to her ankle, which she kept hidden under her sweats. (She's not leaving for another few days, we can still build up the romance, she's just gonna go into hiding. Maybe get beat up. Who knows)
(Yeah I know)
“I want to know if I can help you. I mean sort out your problem with um your ex and your brother.” Pierce replied, “You could get seriously hurt if you have no one with you.”
"I don't need no one. Look. I grew up in a town overrun by drug lords and crime wars. I can handle my fucking self, pretty boy. Go back to living in your first world middle class citizen life, in your office building, milling about, until you retire in hawaii like every other FUCKING american and leave me to lead my life of danger, adventure, and murder. What can you help with ANYWAYS? Why do you like me? I could kill you without blinking an eye!" She said, and then she heard the screech of car tires. "SHIT SHIT SHIT!" And she went running, and soon was on top of buildings, back to parkouring.
Pierce stood there, stunned. Now Starla was gone and he had no idea what to do. He dropped his gaze to the sidewalk and turned around, heading back to his apartment, his mind racing with hundreds of thoughts, What if she gets hurt…or worse? he thought to himself, Maybe she’ll return to her hideout, I’ll just wait and see I guess. he decided with a sigh.
(Can I do a timeskip?)
(Go ahead)
A few days passed by, and no sights of Starla anywhere. Not on rooftops or in hidden alleyways, definitely not in her apartment, not at the comic book store, or any sorts of museums, and definitely not at Wal-Mart. A whole week nearly passes by. But on Sunday, at midnight, she creeps along his windowsill, and then disappears into her apartment. "Haha YES all my shit is still here!"
Pierce had barely been able to sleep the entire week, every day he checked Starla’s apartment to see if there was any sign she had been there and every day he became more and more worried. At the current moment in time, he was passed out on his bed, due to exhaustion.
She sighed, and went to bed. She was sorta worried about Pierce, but figured he'd be fine. She went to sleep rather quickly, happy to be home safe and not dead. Her legs were sore, her hair was greasy, and she smelled horrible but, she'd figure all of that out later. For now she slept peacefully.
The next morning, Pierce woke up feeling groggy and depressed. He glanced towards the wall and sighed, it probably wasn't worth going to check if Starla was back. He was certain that he'd keep getting the same results of her not being there. He ran a hand through his messy hair and grabbed some water from the fridge before sitting down in his chair.
Starla stirred and got up, her feet stomping and thudding on the floor. She decided that music would be a good idea to start this morning, and hit play on her playlist, blasting it. Loud enough to be heard through walls. She changed clothes, and ran a hand through her hair, disgusted by it.
Pierce's brain snapped more awake when he heard loud music through the wall. He jumped up, his eyes wide and ran out of his apartment, extremely hopeful. He knocked on Starla's door and waited. He was dressed in a old t-shirt pajamas pants and his usually neat hair was messy as can be.
She yawned, and opened the door. "Oh hey Pierce. Ya know, it's nice to see a familiar face." She smiled a bit, actually sorta happy to see the twit.
