Meghan picked up her tablet and turned it on. She pulled out her stylus and tapped around for a bit, eventually pulling up her schedule.
"Drama class?" Miss Tammy read over Meghan's shoulder. " good Lord, that's the absolute last thing you need!"
Megan grinned and put her tablet away as she stood up. Come on!
"Alright, alright!" Miss Tammy laughed.
((So instead of art, it's drama this time around?))
(Apparently! XD I'm cool with it.)
(I guess! I didn't think I'd influence the RP that much right off the bat!)
(so are they all in drama?)
"-and they had me in AP English. Matt, AP!" Melody's phone was pressed to her ear as she made her way into the Drama classroom, complaining to her brother. "And I can't change it for two weeks, until all the flipping and changing is settled enough to find me a place, and not mess someone else's schedule up." She could practically hear her brother's eyeroll over the phone as she plopped down at a desk, fiddling with a pen in her hands.
Graye is chewing her pencil as stares down at her screenplay she was writing, her leg bouncing fast, jiggling her desk subconsciously. She sighed and her leg stopped suddenly as she set her head down on her desk, staring out the window next to her into the courtyard.
Robin walked into the school and was instantly abandoned by his sister. He pulled out his schedule and looked at it, great Drama class. He had no idea why he would have Drama class. Drama wasn't even his strong suit, heck he had panic attacks talking to people so of course he never liked drama. Unlike his sister who absolutely loved Drama and all that type of stuff.
Meghan pulled up a map of the school on her tablet. Eventually, she and Miss Tammy found the Drama classroom. Megan smiled excitedly and sat down behind an empty desk. The girl beside her had her head down, and another girl in front of her was talking on her phone. This is so exciting! she signed to Miss Tammy.
The woman smiled. Don't let these lessons get to your head.
Meghan rolled her eyes.
Graye perked up when she heard someone sit down next to her. She looked over and saw an excited girl signing to an older woman. She smiled and waved to catch the girl's attention. Hello she signed.
"No, I'm not going to have fun." Melody griped, making a mental note to bug the secretary in the office until her schedule was changed. "How is being surrounded by kids smarter than me-no, I am not. That was a fluke. Hezonja was sleep deprived and didn't realize who's exam he was grading. Yeah, yeah, bye. I'll meet you there, and we'll bus together." She hung up the phone just as the bell on his end rang, turning to texting instead.
Meghan's eyes lit up as the other girl signed to her. Hello! She replied excitedly. My name is M-E-G-H-A-N. What's yours?
Robin walked into the classroom and found a seat in the back. He sat down and pulled out a notebook. Robin was quiet as he sat there, he hoped nobody would pay any attention to him. He absolutely hated attention.
Graye was looked in concentration as the girl signed her name. Meghan, huh? After a little hesitation, she signed back slowly, My. Name. Is. Graye. She took a deep breath then carefully signed, Sorry. ASL. Is. …..R. U. S. T. Y.
Meghan smiled warmly and turned to her tablet. She wrote on the screen with her stylus and showed the delicate handwriting to Graye when she was done. That's okay. At least you know it. Most people don't. Pleased to meet you, Graye.
Graye smiled. "It's nice to meet you too! Why are you in Drama?" she asked curiously, leg starting to bounce again.
I'm not sure, Meghan answered, then added, I didn't put my schedule together. The school did it for me.
Graye tilted her head. "Huh. Maybe they thought it'd help you communicate or something. I mean, who knows with schools, right?" She tipped her chair back onto two legs, grinning and twirling her pencil in her hand.
Meghan smiled back. A new friend? she hoped.
(Does anyone want to be the Drama teacher? If not, I can be them.)
(let's see what the others say.)
(I actually have a drama teacher, so if no one wants to be one, I'll use my character)
(Thanks I’ll get a character up in a second)
