"What's wrong with Dan?" Daisy asked with a smile. "He's better than no one, right?"
"What's wrong with Dan?" Daisy asked with a smile. "He's better than no one, right?"
"He's a mess. Especially after a girl breaks up with him. Sometimes I believe he is a girl." Lucas chuckled.
Daisy snorted and rolled her eyes. "You should find him a good date, then. Or… We could set him up together?" she suggested, a mischievous glint in her eyes.
Lucas raised an eye brow. "Oh? And how would we do that? Make him a tinder profile?"
"I mean, we could, but that's not what I was thinking. I know some single girls who'd kill for a date, but I'd have to know more about Dan to see which one would fit his personality better," Daisy said with a shrug.
"Hmmm, that could work. Lets see. He's a drinker. A stress eater. He'll Litarlly eat all the food in the house, and some how! Is still very fit." Lucas shook his head.
"Huh. This could be complicated," Daisy murmured, picking up another slice of pizza and taking a bit of it.
"It is complicated. Do you know how long I've gone without ice cream? That man is a garbage disposal." Lucas' mouth watered at the thought of ice cream, but he quickly pushed the feeling away.
"We could talk about it over ice cream, if you want?" Daisy suggested with a shrug.
"My shifts not over-" Lucas took a moment to think before speaking, "actually, I quit. Ice cream sounds good." He stood with a grin before calling into the back, "I quit! See y'all never!"
"Lucas!" Daisy laughed, standing as well. "I meant later!"
"Ice cream. Now." Lucas laughed and threw his name tag at the counter.
"Seriously? But what about your job? Where will you work?" Daisy asked.
Lucas cocked his head to the side, "don't know don't care. Ice cream is calling my name lets go."
"Well… Okay," Daisy sighed. She smiled at Lucas and nudged him. "Let's go, then."
"Heck yeah!" Lucas marched out of the pizza joint grinning. "I hated that place anyway."
"Then why were you working there?" Daisy asked as she followed him.
"I worked there with a girl I used to like. She quit, now I have know idea where she is. But oh well." Lucas shook his head, "sorry that sounded stalker-ish."
"I mean, it makes sense," Daisy said with a shrug. "I did the same thing in New York, actually. But I stayed after he left."
"Yeah well, working there was boring anyway. Things are more fun with friends, and people who don't all hate each other." Lucas laughed lightly.
"Well, I'm sure you'll find a job somewhere," Daisy said with a shrug.
"Yeah. Maybe an ice cream place." Lucas joked.
"You'd get fat from eating it all," Daisy teased.
Lucas rolled his eyes. "in case you haven't noticed I go to the gym. Don't you remember how fat I was when we where little?"
"Yeah, but you shot up and grew out of all of it. But that doesn't mean you should really work there," Daisy chuckled.
