"That is true," Daisy chuckled as she licked her ice cream. "Why don't we stay here for a bit, then?"
"That is true," Daisy chuckled as she licked her ice cream. "Why don't we stay here for a bit, then?"
Lucas shrugged, "sounds like a plan. Anywhere else you wanted to go? Or just want to hang out around this ice cream place and chat?"
"I think here's good. Unless you had somewhere else you wanted to go," Daisy said with a shrug.
"Nah, there's really no where fun around here besides the mall." He motioned to a table, "shall we sit?"
"Yes, let's," Daisy said, smiling as she made her way over and sat down.
Lucas slid into the seat across from her and smiled, "so, how did you sleep last night?"
"Pretty well, actually. I wasn't expecting to, seeing as it was a new place and all. What about you?" Daisy asked.
"I fell gently asleep to the sounds of Dan crying." Lucas laughed before adding, "that dude needs a girl."
Daisy chuckled. "Well, I know what we'll be talking about while we unpack."
Lucas raised an eyebrow, "my roommates tragic love life? Should be a fun topic."
"More like setting him up with someone," Daisy corrected him with a smile.
Lucas laughed lightly, "I don't think any girl can deal with his clingyness. But be my guest if you wanna try."
"Why don't we make this interesting, then? Well, more interesting, anyway?" Daisy chuckled. "How about, whoever can find him a girlfriend first wins."
"Hmmm alright. But you're not aloud to date him. Or else I'm totally dressing up as a girl and stealing him." Lucas shook his head with and had a stupid grin playing on his lips.
Daisy crinkled her nose in amused disgust. "Yeah, no. That was definitely not my plan," she chuckled.
"Uh-huh. Yeah sure. I know what you're planning." Lucas raised an eye brow before bursting out laughing.
"Mmhm… Do you, now?" Daisy hummed, returning the raised eyebrow.
"Oh yes. Very much." Lucas gave her a challenging grin
"And what, pray tell, would that be?" Daisy asked.
"Oh. I'd like to keep that to myself. But please feel free to say what's on your mind." Lucas leaned forward, placing his elbows on the table and then his chin onto of his hands.
"Hm, I think I'd rather keep it to myself, too," Daisy teased.
"Then we're on mutrel ground." Lucas gave a playful grin. "Shall we set some rules for this game?"
"Like what kind of rules?" Daisy asked, leaning forward on the table as she continued to lick her cone.
"No paying someone to date him? No dating him your self. And no bribing? Sound good?" Lucas grinned, going back to his normal joking around self.
"As if I would do any of that," Daisy laughed. "And no sabotaging dates."
