"Women can usually go for longer than men, even if we are slower," Daiay stated matter-of-factly as she grinned at him, her own breathing heavy.
"Women can usually go for longer than men, even if we are slower," Daiay stated matter-of-factly as she grinned at him, her own breathing heavy.
"Well. Might have gone longer. But we're both tired. To your house to unpack?" Lucas gave a small breathless chuckle.
“Yeah, that sounds good,” Daisy agreed with a breathless chuckle.
(Skip?)
(Yeah sure. To when?)
(Hm… When they get back?)
(Yeah.)
Lucas hopped out of his car, having followed Daisy back. Even though they lived on the same street and he knew the way back.
Daisy was waiting for him by the door, smiling as she hefted her bag up higher onto her shoulder. “So, you ready to help me unpack?”
"Totally." Lucas grinned. "What shell we unpack first? Bathrooms, living room?"
“How about we do the living room? Then we can finish what’s left in the kitchen if you have time,” Daisy suggested, making her way to the room in question.
"I kinda quit my job today. I have plenty of time." Lucas chuckled. "Though job hunting later would probably be a good idea."
"Probably," Daisy agreed with a light laugh.
"Alright. Living room we go? Lets get this unpacking party started!" Lucas grinned and motioned at the door for her to unlock it.
Daisy laughed lightly and unlocked the door. “If it’s a party, then we’ll need music. If you go start unpacking, I’ll find my speaker.”
"Right, just show me where to start." Lucas opened the door and gestured for her to go in, before following and closing the door behind them.
“You can just pick a box and start there. It doesn’t really matter much where you start,” Daisy said with a shrug as she made her way to her bedroom.
"Alrighty, make sure to get good music. Not the gross girly kind." He joked as he made his way into the livingroom and pick a box to start with.
"Oh, now I'm totally going to play that!" Daisy laughed.
Lucas groaned, a small chuckle accompanying it. "Gosh, I shoulda kept my mouth shut."
"Just wait," Daisy said as she made her way to her bedroom. "I'm going to blast some Taylor Swift."
Lucas rolled his eyes, and- quite dramatically added- "lord kill me now. What did I do to deserve this kinda death." He laughed.
Daisy laughed to herself as she grabbed a speaker and walked back out. She set it up and started playing some miscellaneous music from Spotify. "There. No Taylor Swift."
"Praise the Gods. I've been spared!" Lucas gave a dramatic sigh before grinning. "Say, do you listen to pop?"
"Some. Why do you ask?" Daisy wondered as she pulled a box over and started to unpack.
"No reason." Lucas grinned and added jokingly, "just wondering if you where cool still."
"Hey, I like all kids of music," Daisy said with a light laugh. "Does Country make me less cool?"
