"Uh-huh uh-huh yeah. I totally believe you." Lucas grinned. "Right. No sabotaging. Will there be a prize for who ever finds him a girlfriend first?"
"Uh-huh uh-huh yeah. I totally believe you." Lucas grinned. "Right. No sabotaging. Will there be a prize for who ever finds him a girlfriend first?"
"Of course! What about… Loser pays for a nice dinner?" Daisy suggested with a shrug.
"Sounds like a deal." Lucas reached across the table, extending his hand. "Shall we shake on it?"
Daisy grinned and shook his hand. "It's a deal."
Lucas took an extra second holding her hand after the shake before quickly pulling his hand back. The stupid grin returning. "This is gonna be great." He said with a laugh.
"I'm totally going to win. I hope you know that," Daisy chuckled.
"Oh its totally on." Lucas gave a small challenging grin, But his eyes still where soft. "I'm going to win."
“Hm, we’ll see about that,” Daisy said with a light laugh as she finished her ice cream cone. “I’m done. You ready to go?”
"I'm always ready. Just like I'm ready to beat you." Lucas wiggled his eyebrows jokingly. "But yes. I'm ready. Shall we?"
“That we shall!” Daisy laughed. “And you’re totally not beating me!”
"Oh we'll see about that. But I know for a fact I'll beat you to our cars!" Lucas was already taking off before he finished his sentence. A laugh echoing out behind him.
“Nuh-uh! You’re totally going down!” Daisy laughed.
Lucas waved her over, "well then come on slow poke! Or else it wouldn't be much of a challenge."
“I’m coming, geez! You didn’t even start fairly!” Daisy exclaimed as she ran after him.
"Well in my defence you should have known." Lucas began jogging, going just slow enough for her to catch up to him.
Daisy quickly caught up to him and stuck her tongue out. "Not fair."
"Not far?" Lucas grinned and picked up his pace. "You're all cought up now though."
"Doesn't mean I'm good at running," Daisy chuckled, speeding up her own pace.
"Well I mean if you're like me and run away from your problems, you'd be a great runner." Lucas grinned jokingly.
“Or if I was in track. That would have helped, too,” Daisy pointed out breathlessly.
Lucas dropped his pace to s slow jog. "Don't die on me. Because contrary to books and movies, I don't think I can carry you. Not that you're heavy that is. I'm just not that strong." He joked.
“Gee, thanks,” Daisy chuckled.
"I mean no offense by it." Lucas said in a huff of breath. "Talking and running sucks. Walk amd talk?" He sounded slightly breathless.
"Nope! I win!" Daisy laughed, passing him and touching the car.
Lucas stopped before getting to the car and laughed. "Maybe you do have more stamina?" He shook his head before slapping his hand on the car too.
