"I can if you want…I kinda want another anyways." Fiona pulled out her wallet and grabbed a few bills, she looked at Lee and waited to see if he wanted another one.
"I can if you want…I kinda want another anyways." Fiona pulled out her wallet and grabbed a few bills, she looked at Lee and waited to see if he wanted another one.
"All drinks on me!" Miloh interrupted the two, paying the bartender.
“I may as well have another…” Lee uttered. There’s nothing wrong with revisiting, right? Nothing wrong from running away from the real world. He rested his chin in his hands and sighed. Kamon, though… where are you?
Fiona grinned and yelled to the guy who had just paid the bartender "Thanks! you're awesome!"
(Whoa)
Lee measely waved to him. “Thank you….” He grabbed his second whiskey on the rocks and cupped the glass in both of his hands. I’m unsure if I’m even in the right place… I can guarantee it won’t be long before they kick me out, though.
Fiona smiled and ordered her fourth whiskey on the rocks, she grinned and downed half of the glass, not even batting an eye as she did.
He glanced over at her. She really must be getting into it…. It was her fourth drink, after all. But oh well….This one’s for you, Kamon, wherever you are. He drank it with a sense of greed. I’ll try not to get carried away… but if I do, I’m sorry.
Fiona looked at Lee and smiled "You want to play a game of cards or something Lee? I'm kinda bored."
“I’ll play if you have a deck ready to go.” Like I have the money to afford it… He finished off his drink and slid the glass away from him. “Unfortunately, I don’t play Poker.” Not only do I not gamble, I was never taught, oddly enough….
(K i gtg for now, i'll be back in a few hours)
Fiona pulled a deck of cards from her pocket "I know it's random, but I always keep a deck with me, and we can play cribbage if you know how."
(Understandable)
“Unfortunately, I don’t…” Lee sighed. I knew I wouldn’t fit in here… Cribbage…. He scrunched his brow with concern. I’ve never even heard of such a thing…..
Fiona smiled encouragingly, "That's ok, what games do you know?" she started shuffling the cards and thought of all the card games she knew.
He shrugged. “I never really played cards…. I was always busy helping P— er, my dad do work….” Lee’s thoughts came back, harder than ever before, and he began to tear up. Resisting the urge to blink, he sighed. “I mean, I don’t really know if I want to play anything anymore.”
(K i gtg to bed gn!)
"oh, ok, well it was worth a shot." Fiona sighed and put the cards away.
(Gn and gm!)
Lee excused himself and got into the restroom as soon as he could. “How could you let yourself fuck up like that?” He uttered, wiping his arm across his face. “You don’t know how to do anything in this modern place, and you expect to fit in, let alone stay?”
He took a deep breath. “I don’t know how much longer I can stay like this. That girl’s pushing me to the edge….”
Fiona sighed 'he looks pretty nervous….I'll go try to talk to someone else' she grabbed a napkin and a pen and scribbled him a message: I'm going to go listen to the music..have a nice night! Ps. Here's $5 you look like you need it. She grabbed a $5 bill from her wallet and put it under the napkin, and then stood up to go listen to the singer.
Lee wiped all his tears away, exiting the restroom with a fluttering heart. I-I can’t have that happen again…. He got himself back to the stool at the bar and saw that Fiona left a napkin with a note addressed to him. He sat back down and took a peek under it, to see what she promised— $5.
As sad as it sounds, she isn’t wrong… He took it and shoved it in his pocket with his other money.
Fiona walked over to the stage where the singer was and started nodding her head to the music, hoping that Lee got her money.
He continued to sit at the bar, minding his own business. Everyone else was doing their own thing— chatting, singing, drinking and such. I should really get going…. Lee stared down at his vibrating hands. I can’t stay here forever, and besides, there’s more important things worth saving for than alcohol…
Fiona smiled to herself and checked her phone, waiting for her friend to show up so they could act stupid together.
Lee got exhausted of worrying. He rested his head on his hands and sighed. “Oh well… there’s no problem in staying here all night, I hope…” His eyelids felt heavy, and he slowly fell asleep.
Fiona watched the singer and continued to wait for her friend, who had bailed but was promising that she was going to be there in a few minutes.
His chin slipped from his hand and he jarred awake, a pool of spit on his hand. I’ll never be able to get good sleep. Lee wiped his hand on the hem of his shirt, grumbling tiredly. He glanced over to where Fiona was watching the singer. Nah, it’s best not to bother her…. she’s having a good time without me.
Fiona's phone went off and she checked it quickly, she sighed, her friend had texted her that she wasn't coming. She walked away from the singer and back to the bar, debating whether to go sit by Lee again.
He wasn’t sure what else there was to do— he couldn’t do anything besides sit and listen without spending money. I wonder if they serve food here…. I could go for a few bufflao wings about now… but then again…. I only have about ten bucks…. His head began to hurt again, and he grumbled. …maybe I should just let my mind wander….
