“Alright… Thanks for the money…” Lee took what Cosmo had in his hand, barely brushing it before putting the money in the pants’ pocket. “I know it’s quite cold today, and I’d hate to walk there like this… did you happen to put a sweatshirt or a coat in the bag….?” Why can’t you just appreciate what he gave you??
"I don't think so…" He trailed off, wondering why he didn't think of that before. "I have a hoodie in my car that you could use if you want to." He suggested, shrugging.
I guess I haven’t really gotten used to this kind of weather yet…. “I can go with that….” Lee gathered up his older clothes and put them in the bag, grabbed his cap and was ready to go. I’ve never been so motivated in my life….. what is this…. thing I feel?
Cosmo opened the door for Lee and reached in his backseats to take out the gently used hoodie. "I hope it's okay for today." He told him, giving him the piece of clothing. He unlocked the car doors and got inside, starting the engine.
(time skip to the club?)
(Okay… ya, a trip to the laundromat seems boring…. long story short, he got his stuff washed and dropped back off at the motel…. i guess.)
Lee felt a little better coming into the club— within at least 24 hours, he had at least a place to stay and a good friend. Yet, I’m still gonna be careful on how I spend the mere money I have… He found his usual stool at the one side of the bar and had a seat. “I love this sweatshirt, Cosmo— it keeps me warm and comfy…. since the weather here is a bit more on the cold side…”
"That's great. It's yours now and if you want anything like it, you can just ask." He responded, sitting beside Lee, ordering a drink.
“Well, I’d hate to make you give me stuff,” Lee scrunched his brow a little. “So maybe if I can just try to get my hands on another one, that’d be nice.” The weather’s just gonna get colder and colder anyways…. He turned around on his stool, putting his elbows on the counter. “….There isn’t as many people here as I thought there’d be….”
"Of course, I have a closet full of them so giving a few away won't hurt." He took his drink from the bartender before continuing. "They might trickle in later on it is quite early." He reminded, looking at his watch quickly.
"Yeah, that's true…." Lee fingered around with the sweatshirt's drawstrings, unsure whatelse to talk about. I feel like I should be out doing something right now…
Cosmo looked around the club for things to do. "Wanna try out the dance floor. I'm heading there in case you want to join me." He suggested in an inviting tone, getting off of the stool.
Lee looked away. "I don't really dance…. To be honest, I've never busted a move in my entire life…" There's so much to modern life that I'm missing out on…
"Ok, no problem. If you need me, I'll be over there." He looked back at Lee one last time before making his way to the lights.
(Does your username mean coffee cake frog?)
(….just about.)
Lee said, “Alright,” in the most quiet voice. He watched Cosmo from the bar, feeling a bit excluded still. I’ll just be…. over here…. by myself…. He put his hands in the pockets to warm himself up. He was tempted to use his money to buy a drink, but he wanted to save it for the utmost important things. …
(could the other people that aren't here join in or they actually left)
(I have a feeling they all left because it was getting hard to interact with other people— this is practically a one on one at this point)
(could we move it to private that then just in case I forget to respond and I forget about the roleplay?)
(Well, I guess we could…. but aaaaaaa)
(I don't know what to do anymore. We should just call it dead and move on… Its not going anywhere and people i din't think are gonna come back.)
(This be one deadest of dead bois. :3)
(oh jeez, I haven’t posted to this since November)
