Toby slipped his hands into his hoodie's pockets as he walked around the tables in the cafeteria. He wanted to sit somewhere else than with his 'friends.' As he continued to pace around, he received stares and waves from everyone. God, I hate being popular. . . I wish people could just act like I was invisible for one day. Toby continued to look around for a table as thoughts filled every small crack in his brain.

@Crisis

Jil enters the cafeteria, looking around nervously. All the tables seem to be full, and who would want to sit with her?

Toby noticed the girl next to him, looking just about as lost as he was. He decided to take his chances. "Uh. . . do you, um, want to sit with me?" He stammered, an embarrassed grin on his face as he ran a hand through his sandy blond hair nervously.

@santanna

Simon tried to ignore the loud laughs coming from the other side of the cafeteria. Where are headphones when you need them? He sighed, still slowly continuing his poem.

Jil turned a bright shade of red as Toby Walker, one of the most popular kids in the 7th grade, asked her to sit with him. "Um. Uh, yeah-I-sure." she stammered. Why the heck is he talking to me? she thought to herself.

Toby grinned, his green eyes lighting up as he motioned towards a table next to them. "Jil Hawkins, right? We have Science and Math together."

Beatrix returned the book and headed down for the cafeteria. She didn't have any friends here, She was still the "New girl." She sighed as she sat down with the food. Still glad I have headphones though.

“Are those kids ever going to consider the fact that they aren’t alone in here?” Griffith asked incredulously.
