Jil laughed. "Thou doth underestimate my power, measly knight!" she exclaimed, poking Toby in the side with her sword.
Jil laughed. "Thou doth underestimate my power, measly knight!" she exclaimed, poking Toby in the side with her sword.
"My God's ears, thou shalt not speak of me with such words! Thou art a flap-mouthed, strumpet!" Toby called back, poking Jil's shoulder.
(I learned shakespearean insults at school once xD )
"Why dost thou speak so profanely of a mere woman? Methinks it queer that a man such as thee would even dare lift a finger against a maiden as fair as I." Jil smiled, and poked his stomach.
(oh gosh that took me like five minutes to compose)
(i don't even think i really know what I wrote)
Simon erased words in his notebook furiously. Why doesn't anything good rhyme with death?! He thought to himself. He exhaled and rubbed his eyes, another nightmare had held him captive the night before.
It'll get better. He told himself for the millionth time that day. He paused. Confess? Death? Does that rhyme? He wrote it down anyways. Simon looked over his shoulder towards the popular kid's table and wondered what his life would be like if he was like them. Would I be happy?
(Going back to this, breath rhymes with death.)
(Sorry just wondering if I could join)
"Why doth thou speak so profanely of a mere woman? Methinks it queer that a man such as thee would even dare lift a finger against a maiden as fair as I." Jil smiled, and poked his stomach.
"Though you are a fair maiden," Toby laughed, stepping closer to her and holding his wooden sword to her stomach. "I dare to fight you!"
"Oh no!" Jil cried. "I am being held at sword point! I'm helpless! There is nothing that can be done! This is it." She sank to her knees, and raised her sword to the sky. "End it! At least I can say I was brave, to the very end!"
"But fair maiden, I, Sir Benedict, am hopelessly in love with you." Toby said dramatically in a terrible English accent, letting his sword clatter to the ground. He laughed, breaking his act for a moment. Most of his friends had never seen this side of him before. "I could never kill a maiden as fair as you, especially if it meant that I would never see my love again."
(hang on I have to think of some shakespeare type stuff to reply with)
( k xD Take your time)
(gtg talk tomorrow)
( see ya.)
"Why, Sir Benedict! I couldn't as soon as strike you with the fatal blow, for I am just as smitten as you are." Jil blushed, and dropped her sword too. (i really had no idea what to write)
"I shall tell the king that I do not wish to kill such a fair maiden as you." Toby replied, a soft smile tugging the corners of his lips upwards.
Jil stood up, just as the bell rang. "Well," she said, "I guess we should get going."
(Would it be terrible if I started shipping Griffith and Simon?)
//lol no itβs fine
