Carter let out a deep moan, his tongue dancing. Arria’s hands in Carter’s hair- oh gosh. Arria could say anything, demand that Carter drown himself for all he cared, and Carter would say yes. He wondered if Arria knew how much power he had over Carter in this moment.
Once Carter moaned it released whatever leash Arria had been trying to maintain on himself, his own moan escaping from his lips a few moments after. The feel of Carter's tongue in his mouth made him want to melt completely.
Carter blushed his fingers over Arria’s neck. More was what I had wanted- this was more. He curled more around Arria, breaking the kiss for a second to murmur against the merman’s lips, “I love you more than the expanse of the ocean.”
The feel of Carter's hands on his neck made Arria shiver slightly and Carter's words. He felt like water in the humans arms, "Are you sure that's possible?" He murmured back, a smile on his lips.
“It is when I’m talking about you…” Carter replied onto Arria’s lips. It felt too fast, but so… so perfect. He ran a hand down Arria’s face, “I just kissed a merman…” This was… If Carter had on land, he wouldn’t have been able to stand.
Arria let out a quiet laugh, "Yeah… you did. And I just kissed a human." He murmured back, his cheeks still tinted slightly pink. He couldn't believe what had happened but Arria was extremely glad it happened.
“I like the taste of merman…” Carter purred back, coming back in the start kissing the other’s jaw line. He ran his hands through Arria’s wet hair, then down the merman’s back, then to the merman’s scaled hips.
Arria's tail twitched slightly at the touch and wrapped around the back of Carter and the merman let out a small noise at the kisses, "Y-You do?" Gods Arria was a mess, he couldn't even form two words without stuttering.
“Mmmmmm,” Carter purred, “You taste like electricity… and a fresh salty breeze…” Carter kissed his way down Arria’s neck, his tongue flicking out every so often. Arria’s voice… Carter could get high off of listening to Arria.
Arria moaned, “I-I’m glad y-you like it…” He couldn’t help but moan. Carter was doing a damned good job of making him feel like water.
“What do I taste like?” Carter murmured before kissing Arria’s lips deeply. He curled his hands around Arria, just to affirm he was still there. That this wasn’t fantasy.
After a few moments, Arria pulled back slightly to murmur, “You taste like… vanilla and…” He kissed Carter again for another moment, “Pine…”
“Mmmm…” Carter gave the merman a lazy grin, then -though he tried to stifle it- yawned. He looked through droopy eyes at Arria, “You’re amazing…”
“So are you but you’re also tired. You should head home.” Arria said, giving him a smile and one light kiss on the lips.
“I don’t wanna…” Carter protested weakly, but as he tangled his hands in Arria’s hair, he whispered, “When can I meet you again?”
"Tomorrow, at sun down, right here." He said back with equal quiet giving Carter a warm and loving smile.
Carter smiled, kissed Arria one last time before pulling away with a sigh, “I’ll be back, Arria,” He promised then made his way towards shore with that little warmth still in his chest. I’m in love with a merman…
Arria watched him go, smiling like crazy the entire time. Once he was gone he swam out into the ocean and bellow the waves, doing small flips the entire way home.
Carter made his way home, and fell asleep as soon as his head met the pillow. He dreamed of meeting with Arria, but police coming and ripping Carter away. The rest was a bit hazy, but that was just your typical dream. He woke up to his alarm, and his mind instantly went to Arria. How they’d meet again tonight. He smiled the entire morning about it.
Arria was fidgety the entire day, wanting night to come quicker then normal just so he could meet with Carter. His brother could tell something was up and Arria had to leave so he wasn’t asked any questions. Eventually the sun started to set over the horizon and Arria hastily swam to the rock pool, hoping Carter would get there quickly.
Carter left his board at home this time, walking into the water with a grin. There were a few people out to see the sunset and have a beach walk, but he doubted they’d be able to see him and Arria in the rock pool. Carter swam out, eager to go meet up with Arria. He came around the corner of the rocks to see Arria, who he greeted with a huge grin, “Hi!”
Arria, who had been mucking around with a pair of flight goggles which he had found (and didn’t quite know what they were) turned around with the goggles over his eyes and a smile on his face, fiddling with the goggles, “Hello!” He said swimming over, the goggles slipping to his neck and he frowned down at them.
Carter grinned and swam closer to Arria. He raised his eyebrows at the flight goggles, “Where did you get that?” The merman looked adorable with them on all goofily, which made him smile more.
"I found them at the bottom of the ocean, I thought you might know what they were…" Arria mumbled, slipping them back onto his eyes but they just fell down again, which made his frown deepen.
“Here,” Carter took off the goggles from Arria’s neck and help put them on better, the tightening the strap so they wouldn’t fall down, “They’re flight goggles. They keep stuff from getting in your eyes.” He smiled at Arria, then titled his head and asked, “Did you see anything around the goggles? Like a plane or…” Bodies…
