Carter couldn’t resist that face, he swooped Arria into his arms and postioned him in his arms bridal style and started to walk. “You’re just too adorable, I can’t hold myself back.” Arria was light enough to carry the rest of the way, probably.
“I was kidding you know. You didn’t actually have to carry me…” Arria said, wrapping his arms around Carter’s neck. He hoped Carter wouldn’t drop him.
“But I want to,” Carter told him, leaning his head to peck his love before continuing their hike to Elecia’s house. It wasn’t long before he was approaching a soft yellow house, the door opening to reveal his friend who greeted them with raised eyebrows. “Hi, Elecia,” Carter smiled in his own greeting.
Arria gave a smile to the girl, feeling his face flush a light shade of red and he tried to get Carter to put him down, “You can stop carrying me now, Carter.” He muttered, looking up at him.
Carter put his sea boy down with a mischievous smile, the girl raising her eyebrows further at Carter. “So? Any more explanation or did you just plan to borrow my car and elope?”
It was Carter’s turn to turn red, “We just want to go on a date… I promise I’ll return the car. We’re just… moving away. Elecia, don’t forget you owe me.”
Elecia sighed, “Fine, fine, don’t give me anymore details. Here’s the keys.” She he,d them up, and Carter grabbed them before she could change her mind.
“Thanks, we appreciate it.” Arria said, giving Carter a small slap on the arm when he forgot to thank her himself.
Carter laughed a small bit, “Yeah, thanks Elecia,” He walked to the car and opened the door for Arria before going around the car to sit in the driver’s seat and start the car. First I’ll take him to the mall, then the movies… It’ll be great…
Arria climbed into the passengers seat and buckled himself in, “Lucky you had that favour.” He looked over at Carter with a smile.
“Yeah, one time I lent her my car and an she dented it,” He laughed as he began driving toward the mall across town, humming a little bit. “I think you’ll like shopping… And feel free to get whatever you want, I brought a lot of money,” He added with a smile and a glance at his love.
Arria frowned a little, “Are you sure? Because I don’t want to cause you too much trouble…” He glanced over at Carter with a slightly worried look. He didn’t want to cause him money problems.
“No, no, I want you to have a good time. It’s not like I can use this money underwater, anyways,” Carter told him with a smile as he continued driving. The mall appeared in view not a moment later, grand in its entirety. He slowed as he began to look for a place to park.
Arria kept his eyes on the mall, a smile growing on his lips with every passing moment, "Damn… this place is massive…" He mumbled, glancing at Carter sidelong before turning his attention back to the building.
Carter found a parking spot towards the front, and stopped the car with another smile at Arria. “This will be fun, love,” He slid out of the car, stretching once before shifting the bag over his shoulder.
Arria slipped out of the car with a smile, a little wobbly on his feet, "How often do you go shopping?" He asked, walking around to Carter and taking his hand in his own.
“Not super often,” Carter replied nonchalantly, intertwining his fingers with Arria’s as they walked into the mall. Carter took him directly to the clothing section first, looking at all the different manikins styling the clothing.
Arria's smile grew as he ran his hand over the racks of clothing, taking interest in a few shirts but not picking them. He placed a pair of sunglasses on his eyes before turning to Carter with a small laugh, "Why are there so many styles of everything?"
“It’s our culture, I guess,” Carter laughed, putting on a pair of sunglasses to match Arria’s and grinning. He looks so cute like that… “You should try some things on,” Carter said, grabbing a few items already that he thought would look good on Arria.
"Sure. Only if you try somethings on, too." Arria said, pulling his sunglasses down his nose a little and giving Carter a wink. He giggled before turning to the clothes again.
Carter laughed, snagging a few clothing items for himself. He tugged on Arria’s arm, “C’mon love, I want to see how you’ll look,” He smiled at his sea boy, holding up the clothes he picked out for his love.
"Alright, I'm coming, I'm coming." Arria laughed a little and let Carter tug him along, giving him a smile, "I swear if these clothes suck then it's all your fault."
“Nothing could suck if you were wearing it,” Carter said charmingly, putting clothes into Arria’s arms and showing him the changing rooms, “I’ll wait out here, and hurry up, I want to see what you look like in each outfit.”
Arria rolled his eyes but smile a little, “You’re such a flirt…” He muttered but headed into the changing rooms. He tried on the first outfit, simple black shorts and light blue shirt and walked out to Carter.
Carter grinned, the shirt was generous on his sea boy’s -sea man’s- muscular form. “You look so handsome!” Carter squealed, the smile not leaving his face.
Arria snorted, “Thanks, love. I think the shirts a little small though…” He looked down at himself a bit his lip before looking back to Carter.
“That’s what makes it so handsome,” Carter waggled his eyebrows at Arria before bursting into a fit of laughter, then he spun his love around, “Go try another outfit on.”
