Arria kissed him back softly, his hands cupping his cheeks gently. He pulled back a little and rested his forehead on Carter’s, “I love you, I love you so much…” I don’t say that enough…

Carter smiled, brushing a hand down Arria’s chest as he murmured back, “I love you too…” He snuck one last kiss on Arria’s lips, then pulled away to glance over at the water. “We should probably go check and make sure your friends are okay from yesterday.”

Arria rolled his eyes a little before moving off of Carter and sliding his too dry tail into the water, “Probably a good idea, yes.” He slid all the way into the water with a content sigh.

Carter reached over and grabbed himself a potion from his bag. He drank it thirstily, his legs mending over the form a tail. He slipped into the water beside Arria, splashing his sea boy while he was at it.

"Hey!" Arria splashed Carter back with a giggle before quickly swimming under the water before Carter could return it. He looked over his shoulder a little way away to see if his love was following.

Carter dived beneath after him, a mischievous grin on his face. Arria was so cute like that… Carter wished he could take a photo to keep it forever. And I’m going to marry him, too…

Arria giggled again and kept swimming when he saw Carter was following. He did a couple flips to show off and for the fun of it and let out an whoop of excitement.

Carter laughed, smiling at his sea boy, and swam to catch up. He grabbed hold of Arria’s hand loving, elated by the fact that Arria cour still smile and giggle like that. Carter gave Arria a quick peck on the cheek, eyes sparkling.

Arria blushed a little at the kiss and grinned at Carter before pressing a kiss to his loves lips. He was so glad he found Carter or his life would have been totally different.

Carter kissed him back before distractedly mumbling, “Where do your friends live…?” It was clear his mind wasn’t worrying about Arria’s friends though. Arria’s just so perfect… Carter’s hand drifted to trace Arria’s scales lightly as he smiled a bit more.

Arria shivered a little and smiled as he kissed Carter for another moment before muttering, “In the city…” Even though he cared about his friends, Arria cared about Carter more and currently, would rather be kissing him.

Carter sighed, then kissed Arria one more time before forcing himself to swim, “Come on, we aren’t getting anywhere like this.” Although Carter didn’t necessarily want to stop kissing Arria, he knew it was his responsibility to check and make sure Arria’s friends were alright since he had just left them there. He was somewhat worried about running into Yuri, still concerned about the prince remembering all that Carter had done. Especially the part where I faked being in love with him in attempt to save Arria…

Arria rolled his eyes a little, “Spoil sport…” He muttered, but he knew Carter was right and that they should go check on his friends. They’d have time for kissing later even though Arria really wanted to kiss Carter now.

Carter gave him a sympathetic smile, tugging on his hand as they swam into the city, “So where exactly do your friends live?” He asked, adjusting his bag over his chest a little bit.

Arria sighed a little, “Hold your sea horses Carter. I know your worried but I’m sure they’re fine.” He said as he took the lead through the crystal lit streets and towards the shared house.

Carter let out a small laugh at ‘hold your sea horses’, but followed beside Arria diligently. He glanced over his shoulder, a small paranoia of them being caught by Yuri somehow eating at him.

“What are you laughing at?” Aria asked, looking over at Carter with a small frown. He shook his head slightly and muttered something about how weird humans were before taking a left down a side street.

“I think it’s cute. You’re cute,” Carter teased, bumping his shoulder into Arria’s playfully as they swam deeper into the city. He glanced over his shoulder one more time before innerly scolding himself for being so paranoid.

Arria muttered something else inaudible before knocking on a door quickly, “Stop being so paranoid Carter. Everything will be fine.”

“Alright, alright, I’m just a little worried,” Carter admitted, swimming up beside Arria as he waited expectantly. He watched the door with slight caution, hoping that Arria’s friends were safe.

“Well there’s no need to be.” Arrow said as the door opened and the three mermen who answers quickly pulled Carter and Arria into a hug.
“Oh thank god your both okay.” Herla said, pulling back from the hug.

“I was worried, what happened after we got out?” Carter asked, smiling a little bit when he saw the mermen. Carter loosely wrapped his arm around Arria’s waist as he looked over the mermen for any possible injuries.

Arria leaned into Carter and nodded a little, “Yeah, what happened?”
“We got chased out by a few guards. Didn’t get hurt and they haven’t come after us since.” Gallion explained, shrugging a shoulder.

“That’s good… Where’s the prince now? Did anyone suspect, I dunno, poison or something like that?” Carter asked, secretly hoping that the prince was ill from the memory potion or something like that.
