“It’s a lot faster, since there’s a lot of places and cities to go, I guess. Walking is a lot slower and more tiring than swimming, I suppose,” Carter tilted his head to the side, glancing at Arria as he grinned. He slowed once they got to his house, pulling into the driveway with a smile still on his face, “Welcome to my house.”
Arria grinned and unbuckled the seat belt, opening the door to the car and stepping out carefully, "This is your place?"
“Yep,” It wasn’t a too shabby house, but it was on the smaller side. He opened the door for Arria, bowing his head for posture, “Voila.” The interior wasn’t bad, an old two person couch and a few chairs, small kitchen and dining room, two doors leading to the other rooms.
Arria walked in with a smile on his face, running his hand over the countertop in the kitchen, "Wow…" He turned around and smiled at Carter, "This is… wow."
“You really like it?” Carter asked with a small laugh, opening one of the doors to reveal his room when he went to get shirts for them. His room was probably the nicest part of the house, despite the clutter. He tossed a shirt at Arria, “If you want to cover up more, humans typically wear shirts,” Carter laughed, then came to kiss Arria on the cheek and saying mischievously, “But I’m fine with going shirtless if you want.”
Arria blinked and blushed furiously, looking away as he pulled the shirt over his head, "W-Whatever you wanna do it fine with me." He replied, walking off to explore the house a little more.
Carter laughed to himself, pulling on his own shirt, “The other room is the bathroom, if you need to use it,” Carter explained, sitting on his small couch and happily watching Arria look at his house. He’s really cute…
Arria nodded, "O-Okay." He sighed and ran a hand through his hair, finding it strange to feel it completely dry for the first time. He sat down next to Carter and leaned his head on his shoulder, "Thanks for showing me your home." He muttered.
“Thank you for taking interest,” Carter said earnestly, and without thinking he ran his hand through Arria’s hair to brushed out the salt. He blushed slightly, “Uh, sorry, you had a little salt from the water. It happens all the time for me,” Carter brushed out a few salt particles from his own hair for emphasis.
"I-It's fine… it kinda felt nice anyway." Arria admitted with a blush of his own as he looked down at his lap, fiddling with his fingers.
One of Carter’s hands wrapped around Arria’s, then he used his other hand to brushed through Arria’s soft hair with a smile and he said softly, “I’m happy I could take you here.”
Arria smiled, "I'm glad there was a spell for it," He closed he eyes, "I'm glad I met you, Carter. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me." He said quietly.
“You’re the best thing that ever happened to me too,” Carter said softly, subconsciously leaning in closer to Arria.
Arria let out a content sigh and snuggled into Carter, "I love you…" He said quietly.
Carter leaned closer, enough so their lips were only a breath apart as he whispered, “I love you more the the expanse of the ocean and the land combined, Arria,” He slowly kissed him, sweet and soft. He touched his foot to Arria’s, then slightly curled his leg around one of his.
Arria wrapped his arms around Carter’s neck, pulling them closer to each other. His leg helped wrap around Carter’s.
Carter deepened the kiss, arms wrapping around Arria and moving to basically pull his love above him, murmuring onto Arria’s lips, “I really do love you…”
“I know you do.” Arria mumbled back running his hands through Carter’s hair gently.
Carter moaned into the kiss, hands running over Arria’s back. He didn’t even realize it was the middle of the night until his clock on the wall made a tiny beep.
Adrian pulled back with a start, “W-What was that?” He asked.
Carter laughed, “It was just my wall clock, it’s how we tell time. It’s the middle of the night,” Carter smiled at Arria, “I guess we’ve been a bit busy. Are you tired?” He didn’t want Arria to need to struggle to stay awake for him.
Arria shrugged, “Not particularly no. Why do you ask?” He said, running a hand down the side of his face, tracing his jawline lightly.
“I don’t want you to be tired for me,” Carter explained, leaning his head into Arria’s hand and humming quietly.
(sorry it’s so short, gtg)
“But I’m not so there’s no need to worry.” Arria replied, smiling softly at the other. His gaze drifted over him before settling back on his face, his eyes soft and loving.
(Okay)
“That’s… nice…” Carter murmured, kissing him after each word, “You’re lovely…” Arria’s eyes were so pretty, Carted could stared into them for eternity.
