”Ok. Makes sense.” Henry nodded as he started gently cleaning some of the blood off Betty.

Evan had moved quietly once he reached the bedroom where Lysander was… resting? He wasn't sure… Though it was odd to hear Lysander's heart beating again.

Tyler slapped his hand away " you have to be fragile"

Henry narrowed his eyes slightly at the slap. ”I’m already treating her like she's made of glass. If you want me to be careful, don't smack me when I’m working.” he said very calmly. ”I know you're worried but so am I.”

Evan grabbed the bag… and after a moment of hesitation, he also grabbed the notebook Lysander had wanted him to look at before heading back to the guestroom.

" is he awake". Tyler asked Evan

Evan shrugged a little. ”His eyes were closed but he has a heartbeat and was breathing.” he told her as he handed her bag over.

Later that night Everyone was downstairs well everyone except lysander and Betty Tyler thought it would be good to put them in the same bed so they're Betty lied still unconscious on her side of her bed shared with lysander once they got all the blood off they noticed she had a few more cuts so she had a cut on her eyebrow and lip and stitches up at her head

Lysander let out a soft groan as he finally managed to open his eyes.

Betty didn't move, still unconscious stuck inside her mind

Lysander looked around the room a little before he had to close his eyes again. He felt a little like he was hungover and put in a blender.

Betty was laying flat on her back her hair on her face and her shirt wrinkled

Lysander sighed and tried to sit up… before abandoning that idea and turned his head to the side, looking at Betty.

You could physically see she was in extreme pain

Lysander felt sorry for her… but there was something else. He felt… empty? Like there was something missing as he looked at her. He tore his eyes away from her and looked around the room, trying to see if there was anything within reach that he could use to help her.

Tyler came in the room " how you feeling?"

He looked over at Tyler and blinked for a moment before sighing. ”Wierd.” he admitted. ”Everything hurts… Badly. But I think she feels worse.” he said, tilting his head towards Betty.

She sighed " you have no idea…you don't love her anymore do you?" She asked a paper rolled up in her hand

”I… I don't know?” he said thoughtfully and confused. ”I want to? I’m not sure. I feel like something is missing. Or maybe something’s wrong with me?” he wondered, looking at Tyler for any kind of help or advice.

"she saved your life but in order to do that she took away your love for her so uh here's this she gave to me ahead of time" she said handing him divorce papers

Lysander nodded. ”That sounds familiar. The last couple of days just seem hazed. Almost like a dream or something.” he said as he accepted the paper to read, feeling something sinking inside.

Henry lightly knocked at the door.

Tyler cracked the door open and shook her head " he doesn't love her and I'm pretty sure Betty's in a coma" she said

Henry ran his hand through his hair at the news, the notebook in his other hand. ”Well, shit.” he sighed. ”That’s only slightly better than the worst-case scenario we didn't want to think about.” he said meaning the one where one or both of them die.

" when Betty wakes up she'll be miserable when she broke up with you it was bad but you still loved her he has no love left for her and Henry before she passed out she asked me to get him to sign the divorce papers" she said and turned to face lysander " we'll have Henry move her so you don't have to be in bed with someone you don't love""

Henry shook his head. ”He hasn't signed it yet, has he? Because Ly had a couple of things he wanted us to try first.” he explained softly.

Lysander shook his head. ”You don't have to move her.” he said. ”I think we're both in no physical condition to be moved. It’s fine if she stays.”

" what things ?" Tyler whispered
