He opened his teary eyes and looked up at her.

She sighed softly laying s fragile kiss to his forehead

He smiled weakly and leaned up into the kiss, reminding her that despite everything he wasn't that delicate yet. ”My angel.” he whispered.

She looked back down into his eyes

He looked up at her lovingly, hoping that his eyes could actually convey all the words he wanted to say but couldn't get them off his tongue.

She sighed going to stand up

He held her hand, not wanting her to leave yet. He knew that the sooner they cured him the better his chances of surviving would be… but he just wanted to be with her.

"Ten more minutes okay?" She said

He nodded, smiling softly at the compromise. ”Alright.” he agreed.

He shrugged. ”I’m not surprised.” he admitted. ”But I’m used to feeling physical pain. I'll be alright.”

"Ly when your human the pain will be excruciating but I want you to know I will be here to take care of you until your better" she said

He winced a little at the thought of how bad the pain really could be but nodded. ”I have no doubt that you will. But please, take care of yourself as well.” he requested of her.

He let out a soft chuckle and turned slightly to kiss her cheek.
