“Well, I told you about the ”will” he wrote.” Henry started. ”Evan and I already notarized it so it's legal now. As for the other thing…” he looked down, embarrassed. ”It’s a little personal and not meant for anyone but Lysander to read.”
" well damn Henry do you want me to kill Betty that might bring back his love or maybe he should kiss her " she
”No!” Henry exclaimed. ”Obviously don't kill her.” he tapped the notebook. ”Ly wrote some really personal stuff about how he felt about Betty. Like really deep poetry kind of stuff hoping that if he read it now it might spark those feelings again.” he told her. ”I read it because I was curious and if it was possible, I’d be bright beet red.”
" one that's invasion of privacy two give him the damn notebook and we'll leave" she said
Henry rolled his eyes at being scolded like that. ”Yeah, I know that. But he is still the closest thing I’ve ever had to a brother and we’re centuries old. There's very few things we don't know about each other.” he said, before stepping into the room. ”Plus I didn't realize what I was reading until after the first paragraph.”
Tyler rolled her eyes leaving the toom
Henry sighed a little and walked over to the bed, sitting down near Lysander. ”How’s the heart?” he asked, starting with small talk.
Lysander smirked briefly at the question. ”Beating pretty strong, but you already know that.”
Betty layed there as Tyler laced downstairs
”What are you really here for, Henry?” Lysander asked, not wanting to dance around the topic.
”Just to give you this.” Henry answered as he set the notebook in his lap. ”Read it and think it over, I mean really think it over, before you do something that you'll regret later. Like signing those papers Tyler brought you.” he said, a little sternly before standing up to leave.
Betty was rubbing her head as she placed " how are you not worried Evan your her boyfriend do you not love her or something?" She asked
”Of course, I love her, Tyler.” Evan said a little defensive. ”I just don't want to crowd her. Once Henry leaves, then I'll go up and check on her.” he promised.
”Why would I sign those papers, Henry?” Lysander asked. ”I know I should feel something for my wife but right now, everything just hurts too much for me to even remember my own name.” he explained. ”I will read this, I promise. I just need a moment.”
Henry nodded, satisfied with that answer though still concerned about both of them, and left the room.
Henry sighed as he came downstairs and flopped onto the couch. ”This sucks.” he muttered audibly.
Evan nodded at the sentiment and stood up to go see Betty.
Tyler nodded sighing and running her hands through her hair
”I really hope that notebook helps.” Henry commented somberly. ”Betty deserves better than what’s happening.”
" yeah considering she might not wake up" she said
“Don’t say that, babe. Please.” Henry begged. ”Come here.”
Evan quietly walked into the bedroom and knelt on the ground next to Betty.
Tyler walked over to Henry and wrapped her arms around him
Henry smiled softly and held her close, hoping to comfort her… and needing a bit as well.
She sighed closing her eyes
Henry sat quietly, listening to both Tyler's heartbeat and their baby's.
Evan gently placed his hand on top of Betty's.
Tyler rested her head in the crook of his neck
Betty didn't move
”How are you feeling?” Henry asked softly, placing a hand on her stomach.
Evan sighed, a little disappointed… not that he had been expecting much more of a reaction. He leaned forward slightly and kissed her forehead.
" everything hurts " Tyler said
Henry looked up at her, a little more worried. ”Really? Uhh… Do we need to take you into see a doctor?” he asked nervously.
