He smiled softly at her and pulled her close, hugging her.

She rested her head on his shoulder

He shifted a little so she was sitting in his lap as he held her.

"I'm hungry" she said

”Food or blood?” he asked softly.

"Food" she mumbled into his neck

”Ok.” he nodded, carefully picking her up and carrying her back to the house. ”Anything in particular?”

She shook her head

”I can make you some soup if you would like.” he offered

She nodded gently

”Ok.” he smiled, holding her close and kissing her cheek as he carried her.

She barried her face in his chest

He chuckled a little as the house came into view.

”Why?” he smiled at her. ”Are you tired?”

She nodded

”Oh, sorry.” he smiled a little. ”Why don't you take a nap while I cook?” he suggested.

She nodded tiredly

He smiled and kissed her forehead as he opened the door.
