”I will.” Charles assured her. ”Are you ready to go, sweet girl?” he asked Laura-Beth.

Charles chuckled softly. ”Is this the first time she's gone somewhere without you?” he asked his daughter.

Charles smiled a little. ”Then you should know that this is normal.” he assured them. ”It’ll be the same when she starts school and the little trio will go through this.”

Charles looked at her a little saddened by her reaction. ”No… and I know that I can never make up for that, but I was a grade school teacher once. I saw this happen many times and a part of me hoped to experience it.” he apologized.

"Just have another daughter" she mumbled

"Then why'd you leave her dad why'd you leave me" she said
