”Maybe you should just go.” Lysander suggested. ”Evan, will you carry Adrian to the car and I'll help with the kid's bags.”

”I’ll help with the bags, you go after her.” Evan said, picking up his son. ”And tell her I’m sorry for bringing this up. The fight may be between you two but if I started it then I’m sorry.”

Charles knelt down, still holding the two babies. ”Laura-Beth, climb on my back and you'll get a fun ride to the car.” he smiled.

Lysander chuckled a little at getting to see his father-in-law act this way and picked up his oldest daughter so she could wrap her arms around Charles’ neck.

Betty sat by the water her palms bleeding

Lysander quickly kissed Laura-Beth’s cheek. ”You be a good girl for your grandpa.”

”Ok.” Laura-Beth giggled, holding on tightly.

”And thank you guys.” he added looking at the other two vampires.

Evan smiled a little. ”It’s no problem. Now go and make up with Betty… And take some bandages. She digs her nails in pretty deep.” he reminded his brother, who nodded and ran after her.

Lysander ran for a minute before he found Betty and slowed to walk up to her. ”Angel… What are you doing?” he asked, raising a brow at the steam.
