”Then why did you shake your head?” Lysander asked curiously. ”Did I leave something out?”

" No I meant Henry" she said just then the door opened and there was Betty

”What did I do?” Henry asked, a little shocked.

”You’re a clueless idiot, Henry.” Lysander rolled his eyes before noticing Betty. ”Thank goodness, you're ok.” he sighed in relief.

" yeah my phone died" she said

Lysander nodded. ”That explains… I’m sorry, love. You were gone all day and I was getting worried.”

" I was in town sorry" she said closing the door

”All day?” Henry asked. ”What would need you to be in town from five in the morning till nearly midnight?”

Tyler rolled her eyes and Betty ignored him.going to the kitchen she got glass of water

”Henry. Shut up.” Lysander scolded.

" please do" Tyler said

”Don’t team up against me, babe.” Henry sighed, sitting next to her. ”I can't win that way.”

" there's nothing to win you think you understand Betty but you don't know a damn thing"

“I dated her for… was it four or five years?” he trailed off for a moment. ”I think I know a few things about her at least.” Henry defended.

”Doesn’t make you any less clueless about her.” Lysander pointed out before heading into the kitchen.

Betty sighed and closed her eyes

Lysander smiled a little as he saw Betty, glad that she had been fine all day.

She walked over and wrapped her arms around him

Lysander smiled and returned the hug gratefully.

She layed her cheek on his chest

”I missed you today.” he almost whispered, kissing the top of her head.

" I missed you too" she said

He smiled softly. ”Did… everything go alright?”

She nodded " I love you…so much" she said

”I love you too, my angel.” he told her.

Later that night they were in bed and Betty was placing kisses on his neck jaw and collar bone

Lysander chuckled a little at the kisses. ”What brought this on tonight?” he smiled.
