" I'm scared Ly he's getting closer and I don't know what to do I don't want to die again" she said a tear rolling down her cheek

He wrapped an arm over her. ”I won't let him touch you.” he promised protectively. ”Betty, you mean so much. Not only to me but our whole family, including Evan.” he reminded her. ”If we tell him about… you-know-who Evan can have every vampire hunt him down and either lock him up or have him killed.”

She shook her head " right now I just need to know I'm loved" she said

She sighed" it's harder being loved everything is harder" she said

"Because people matter to me if love wasn't apart of my life I'd be looking out for just myself but now I have an entire family is I have to protect" she said

“Oh, angel.” he said gently. ”You’re only seeing half the picture. You also have a whole family to help protect you.” he told her. ”You don't have to take the weight of the world on yourself. We're all here with you.”

" Tge point is I can handle myself dieing but you my love that would kill me" she said

She glanced over her shoulder at him and sighed she quickly got up and got on top of him straddling his thighs she bent down and kissed him " you are my life" she said

”Whoa.” he chuckled at suddenly being pinned but responded happily to the kiss. ”And you are my world.” he smiled, wrapping his arms around her.

She smiled as a strand of hair fell in her face

He smiled and brushed the strand of her back behind her ear.

She blushed a light shade

He smiled at her blush and kissed her again.
