Laura-Beth continued to tremble, tears starting to well up behind her eyes.

She looked at him " don't make me say his name" she begged

Lysander nodded. ”It’s ok, love.” he said, already suspected who she meant.

Laura-Beth started crying.

She sighed with a sad smile

Lysander rubbed his hands up and down her back in a soothing motion.

She rested her head on his shoulder

He held her comfortingly.

Laura-Beth’s cries started getting louder.

She lifted her head up and sped to laura-beths room going to the edge of her bed

Lysander let go of her as soon as she lifted her head.

Laura-Beth was tossing and turning in her bed, tears streaming down her face.

" sweetie" she said petting her arm

Laura-Beth whimpered again at the touch.

"Wake up hun" she said lightly shaking her

Laura-Beth yelped this time as she woke up, looking around fearfully before she saw her mom. She started crying again and reached for her.

Betty picked her crying babygirl up and held her tightly to her chest

Laura-Beth wrapped her arms around her mom's neck and cried against her shoulder.

" it's ok sweetheart" she said " it's all better now"

Laura-Beth continued to cry. She was so scared.

She stroked the poor girls hair before setting her down on her feet and bending down to get eye level with her

The hair stroking helped quiet her cries but the little girl still had tears in her eyes as she stood up.

She smiled gently " wanna go back to bed?" She asked

”No!” Laura-Beth said loudly, tears starting anew at the idea.

" okay" she cooed picking her up again
