Lysander watched as Betty came out. ”Is everything alright?” he asked.

She nodded leaning against hin

He wrapped an arm around her shoulders. ”What was wrong? She didn't tell me what was bothering her.”

" she had a bad Dream" she said

”Ah. Well, I hope she sleeps better this time.” he stated softly.

She nodded" . . . lysander do you love me?" She asked

“Of course I do.” he told her, kissing her temple. ”I love you so very much.”

She smiled gently " ok" she said

”Why do you ask?” he inquired gently.

He raised a brow at her response but smiled at her. ”Alright.”

She smiled back and was gonna kiss her when there was a knock on the door

”That’s probably Henry and our family.” he said. ”Shall I get the door?”

She worried about Laurabeth when she was a little girl she.would have these nightmares and they wouldn't stop until her brother's let her stay up

Lysander smiled softly at his wife and kissed her cheek before going to let everyone in.

Betty peaked her head in her daughter's room

Laura-Beth seemed to be sleeping peacefully, though she was still holding her puppy close.

She smiled and closed the door

”Happy New Year.” Lysander welcomed the guests, which included his parents, Henry, Tyler, Charles, and… Evan.

Betty walked back downstairs with a smile

”Hey, Bets.” Henry smiled at his sister. ”Happy New Year.”
