she nodded softly.

”I’m sorry if I woke you.” he murmured softly before looking at his ensnared wrist. ”Do you want me to stay with you again?”

she nodded tiredly.

”Alright.” he smiled, laying beside her on top of the covers again. ”Goodnight.” he whispered placing a light kiss to her temple.

"good night" she whispered and closed her eyes.

Lysander, tentatively, laid an arm over her and closed his eyes.

The next Morning she was so tired and cuddled up to the vampires chest.

At some point in his sleep, Lysander had gently wrapped both his arms around Betty and was holding her close.

she sighed blissfully.

”You know, I don't know what time it is but I'm never usual awake this early.” he smiled looking down at her. ”Good morning.”

"morning" she muttered.

“Still tired?” he asked softly, stroking her hair.

"A little bit" she said softly

”There’s no rush to get up yet.” Lysander assured. ”I don't have anything better to do.”

she snuggled up to his chest

He smiled, a soft chuckle rumbling through his chest as he closed his eyes and held her comfortably.

she sighed with a slight smile

”Are you really this happy being with me?” he asked softly, some part of him waiting for the shoe to drop and shatter what hope was growing in his chest.

She looked at Him "yes I'd rather be here with you than anywhere else" she said.

He stared at her for a moment before letting out a sigh of relief and pressing a kiss to her forehead. Her heartbeat hadn't changed… She had told the truth.

He smiled blissfully at her, thinking up a small plan to surprise his love. Knowing the future she had shown him… He wanted to do it right.

She sighed 'i've gotta get up" she said.

”Alright.” he said, reluctantly releasing his grasp.
