Lysander growled baring his fangs. ”I told you to stay away from here!”

”You did.” Henry nodded. ”But I was sure she would be either drained or not mortal by now.” he smirked before scowling deeply at Betty. ”Seems you're still as weak as ever, Lysander.”

Henry raised a brow in surprise. ”An Oracle?” he scoffed. ”Those are about as real as Santa Claus, little girl.”

”Shut up, Henry!” Lysander barked. ”You don't get to talk to my future wife… who is a real Oracle.”

Henry laughed hard and darkly at Betty's statement. ”You poor delusional mortal. You should be afraid of me. You have no idea what I can do to you. You are nothing but a blood bag to me.” he mocked. ”What? You really believe that Lysander is powerful? He is the weakest vampire I know aside from a newly turned.”

Both men stared at her in surprised confusion, unsure what to make of those words.

”Was that a vampire joke?” Lysander snickered eventually.

Henry’s glare darkened. ”Tell me, ”Oracle”, of those present; who is about to die.”

”You wench!” Henry snarled as he went to charge past Lysander and attempted to harm, if not kill, Betty.

Lysander saw this coming and swiftly punched Henry in the face, smirking when he felt something break. ”I warned you not to touch or speak to my wife!”

Henry stood back up and quickly snapped his broken nose back into place with a grimace. ”I don't need to to make her suffer.” Henry growled at Lysander, locking his gaze on Betty he cast an illusion of darkness over her.

Lysander delivered another blow, this time to Henry's ribs. “Henry, stop this before I rip your fangs out!” Vampires couldn't be affected by another's illusion unless they wanted to be, so Lysander had no idea what Betty was seeing.

When Henry felt the hit, the illusion flickered for a moment as he briefly lost focus on it. He smirked darkly as he kept Betty completely blind to what was happening. Slowly he let it receded so she could see at least an arm's length around her before letting a very convincing image of Lysander fall at her feet, dead.
