she pulled away just bit to where thier lips were an inch apart.
Lysander loosened his hold and rests his forehead against her’s letting her catch her breath.
Lysander smiled. ”Would you like to sit down? You seem a bit breathless.”
He chuckled. ”No, I suppose you don't. Neither do I.”
Lysander stroked her cheek and smiled at her. ”It’s almost funny. When I was a boy, I believed in finding my soulmate… and now, when I'm not sure if I have a soul anymore, I find you.”
Betty smiled "I always be here untill I die" she said.
You don't have to… No, that's her choice. he sighed. ”Oh, Heaven. What did I do to deserve you?”
Lysander laughed happily. ”Yes, I suppose I did do that.”
”True.” he nodded. ”But this isn't the first time a proposal has been asked of me. And none of those were as incredible as you.”
Lysander kept smiling and met her eyes. ”I told you I wouldn't. Not to you.”
He sighed, putting an appropriate distance between them, still smiling. ”Is there anything you would like to do today? I'm afraid I’ve been mostly nocturnal for so long I forgot what some people usually do during the day.”
”Me too. I have a very full library you're welcome to use. Do you have a favorite author?” He smiled.
He nodded, picking her up bridal style and walking over to the couch. ”She's a very good author. I have her entire series.”
”I’d have to say my favorite is Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.” Lysander gently placed her down on the couch. ”Which of the Rowling books would you like me to get for you?”
