Lysander opened the door and grimaced. ”What do you want?”

The young man at the door appeared to be the same physical age as Lysander but had sandy blond hair and brown eyes. ”Well, that's a nice hello from you. I just came by to visit my brother.” he said affectionately with a dangerous smirk.

”We are not brothers, Henry.” Lysander growled. ”Now leave. You're not welcome here.”

Henry laughed, ”Not by mere human standards, perhaps. But you can't argue the marks on our necks.” he glanced over Lysander’s shoulder and sees Betty. ”It seems you already have a guest. Who is this lovely lady?”

”She is not a concern of yours!” Lysander growled dangerously at Henry, blocking as much of the doorway as he could. ”This is your last warning: Leave!”

”Now, why would I do that, dear brother? I don't want to be rude to the sweet lady.” Henry chuckled darkly. ”Besides, I had come to ask you if you wanted to join me in getting something to eat but it seems you already took care of that.”

In the blink of an eye, Lysander had grabbed Henry by the front of his shirt and slammed him against the wall. ”You will not touch her!!!! If I ever see you on my property while she is alive, I will end you for good!! And the hell what happens to me while I do it!” Lysander snarled, his fangs glinting dangerously. ”Now, get off my territory.”

Henry was wide-eyed at the response, for two seconds, before he forced Lysander to release him and started cackling. ”Well, I never thought I’d see the day that you’d grow a spine.” he laughed, straightening his shirt. ”Alright Lysander, I’ll leave the two of you alone. But remember, there's only one way to keep her to yourself for good.” Henry gave a slight bow and flirtatious wink at Betty and left.

Lysander was trembling in barely controlled rage, making sure Henry had truly left. He took a deep breath and ran his hands through his hair, trying to calm down. ”I…” he leaned against the wall, not facing Betty. ”I’m sorry.”
