”Now I’m very confused.” Lysander sighed as he pulled out his phone and texted Henry.

" henry and I aren't supposed to be together therefore we're perfect and he needs to get my blood"

”I… Ok.” he nodded still not fully understanding. But he trusted Betty, so he wouldn't argue. Lysander’s phone rang louder than he remembered setting it causing him to jump a little before he answered. ”Hello?”

”Lysander, I swear if Betty is hurt because of your banshee of an ex; I will burn you with Holy Water.” Henry declared angrily.

Betty giggled slightly

Lysander rolled his eyes. ”Betty is fine, you damned jerk. And don't call her that.” he said annoyed. ”Hang on, I’ll put you on speaker. Betty’s right here.” he told Henry as he hit the speaker button.

”Betty, are you ok? I was starting to get worried when you didn't show up.” Henry said a bit calmer.

" get Tyler here locaters spell" she said then hung up and started to walk away

Lysander chuckled as he imagined the confused expression on Henry's face at Betty’s directions. He put away his phone and followed her. ”Are you alright, darling?”

" why didn't you kiss her?" She asked

”I didn't want to.” he told her sincerely. ”Besides I know how much it would hurt you if I did. Marie was part of my past. You are who I want to spend my future with.”

" why should it matter what I think you are your own person you can do whatever you want" she said starting to walk past him

He placed a hand on her shoulder. ”It matters because I don't want to hurt you. I want to make you happy.” he sighed. ”I know I haven't been doing a very good job of it so far but that's what I want to do.”

" you wanted to kiss her I saw it in your eyes" she said

Lysander sighed. ”Alright. The thought did cross my mind.” he admitted. ”But as soon as I pictured it, I saw your face as I pulled away from the kiss.”

" the only thing stopping you is my feelings you don't even care that I love you I could probably go die right now and you wouldn't care" she said tears rolling down her cheek

”No! Of course, I would care.” he exclaimed. ”Betty, do you not remember what I said when you died the last two times? I love you more than anything. When I said I saw your face; I meant that it was yours that I pulled away from after kissing.”

Betty sniffled wiping her eyes

Lysander gently wrapped his arms around her and let her cry into his shoulder. ”I told you; I'm not going anywhere, mon amour.”

”Never.” he agreed, kissing her cheek.

" I can't do this without you I don't want to do it without you you're the only reason after every time I die I have the strength to come back if it weren't for you I would have stayed dead"

”You don't have to do anything. I’m here. I’ll always be here.” he whispered. ”Every time I see you die, something inside me dies with you and it hurts so much. But I am so grateful that you have managed to come back. I can't lose you.”

" do you still love her" she asked

Lysander hummed thoughtfully as he tried to come up with the right words. ”Perhaps in the same way that you still care about Henry. I don't mind, by the way, that you do. In fact, if it weren't for you Henry and I wouldn't have talked as much as we have lately and not as civilly either.”
