He sighed as he lifted her hand and began wrapping it. ”Betty, I know that she's not supposed to be here. I’m trying to help her realize that so she can leave us.” he explained.

Lysander froze for a second but soon continued. ”I see…” he said hesitantly. ”But I don't want her. Not anymore. I want you, more than anything.” he told her gently as he cupped her face softly.

She placed her uninjured hand on top of his.not making eye contact still " I just can't be here while she is and maybe that makes.me.selfish and.a bad person. But.i can't help the way I feel about you" she said.

He turned his hand to hold hers. ”You're not selfish because I feel the same way about you.” he frowned a little as he glanced at the door. ”As much as I don't want you to leave, maybe it would be better for me to talk to her alone. She wasn't one to get angry before but… She might be different now.”

" she's an.entinty now she'll find.me.and who's going to protect me" she.said

”I will.” he said with no hesitation, gripping her uninjured hand a little tighter. ”I will always protect you.”

" you know if it came down to it you wouldn't hurt her " she said.

He shook his head with a soft sigh. ”I don't like hurting people but if she did anything to hurt you… I would do what I needed to.” he promised. ”Besides, she's a ghost. The rules about dealing with them are different.”

She sighed, placing the back of her hand on his cheek " if she hurts you I'll rip her head off her shoulders" she said

He chuckled lightly, leaning into her touch. ”She won't hurt me. Not if she thinks she can come back because she loves me like you say she does.”

" just be careful and don't let her take you from me" she said.

”I promise.” he smiled.

She nodded then kissed him

He kissed her back and gently pulled her a little closer.

She braced her hand in the side of his neck

He reluctantly pulled away. ”I would rather keep kissing you, but I should probably get back out there and convince her to move on.” he sighed.

She nodded," be careful I love you and you better call me if anything happens or you need me understood?" She asked.

”I love you too, my angel.” he smiled. ”If I need anything I’ll call you. I might just call if I need to hear your voice when I wake up.”

She smiled " alright, now kiss me before I go" she said

He didn't hesitate, pressing his lips against hers as soon as she asked.

She kissed him back as soon as she felt his lips
