(Wait- where were you ignored???????)
Pollux had been watching the other two guys interact and nearly forgot to introduce himself.
“Oh yeah, I’m Pollux, by the way,” he said, accidentally interrupting their conversation.
"Yup…Oh and don't forget you're a total sass bucket" Michael laughed to his friend then answered the question he had been asked "It is a mix of both honestly although sensitive hearing sucks"
(Wait- where were you ignored???????)
(Both times I said something, a page or two back maybe. I just kinda gave up though)
(oh poor thing. try again genuinely sorry for you)
(Ahhhh how did I miss it??? I'm sorry!!)
Brett laughed, a smile on his lip. "Nice to meet you Pollux! I didn't mean to interrupt your guy's conversation." He said realizing that's probably what two people standing off a talking were probably, maybe doing. "I'll leave you guys to it, see you later!" He waved skipping off away from them. ( @Nie-Huaisang-is-lost-in-the-stars, this next bit is about your characters) He caught sight of a boy with black and blue hair, seeming to notice he was alone. With a light smile, he skipped over to him. "Hello!"
Pollux muttered to himself.
"Sass? I still don't see it, but… No matter, we were about to leave and stuff anyway. I don't mind."
He looked back down, packing up his things. He didn't intend to be so curt, but he was feeling a little scatterbrained.

Ezra heard the sounds of what seemed to be a greeting, one directed toward him at that. He looked up from his phone and into the eyes of the male in front of him. He rubbed his thumb against the side of his phone for the power button and turned off his phone, his lips pulled back down into a straight line. "Hi," he replied back dully, "can I help you?" He slid his phone into the pocket of his jacket. He slightly panicked, but it didn't show that well.
What are you doing, Ezra? a voice screamed at him in his mind. You're going to drive him away! He shook his head to dismiss the thoughts. He now sheepishly gazed back into the older male's eyes, acknowledging how weird he must have seemed at that moment.
"Just thought I'd come talk to you. You looked like you were alone." He shrugged some, a smile on his lips. "I'm Brett." He introduced himself, sitting down across from him. "What's your name?" Brett inquired, placing his hands in his lap and leaning forward some. Not an enormous amount, just a bit to be engaging.
Ezra placed one hand on his chin and shrugged. "I mean, you are right. I am alone." He tapped his foot against the ground and pulled his phone back out of his pocket. He turned it on to look at the time, but even he didn't know why he did. He wasn't going anywhere important, he never had plans, he just… existed.
Once again, he turned off and put away his phone. He remet Brett's eyes. His eyebrows furrowed slightly. W-why is he smiling? he wondered, but he decided to shrug it off. He finally spoke, his words slow and quiet. "I'm… Ezra…"
This was the first time in a while that Ezra had actually spoken to someone past the word 'hello.' It made him a bit nervous.
“Nice name, I like it.” Brett hummed, stretching his hand out, to shake Ezra’s. “It’s nice to meet you.”
"O-oh. Thanks." He extended his spidery hand to meet Brett's. "It's nice to meet you too." He looked around awkwardly, He had no clue what to say next. Unlike most, Ezra wasn't quite much of a natural when it comes to conversations. Or interactions at all. He spoke shakily. "S-so, uhh… got any hobbies?"
(Ezra is too relatable)
Brett nodded. “Yeah, a few. I play an instrument here and there. What about you?” He asked with a smile sitting back in the seat. “Got any interesting hobbies?”
(Yeah XD)
Ezra's face flushed slightly, but he had no clue what there was to be embarrassed about. His hobbies were pretty normal. "U-umm, I like to sing and, uh, play bass guitar." He pulled the drawstring of his hoodie to his lips and gently bit down on the aglet. He searched for something to say but now he definitely didn't have anything to say. He crossed his legs over one another and rest his elbow on his thigh.
Brett chuckled at his awkwardness. “If I’m bothering you, you can just ask me to leave. I won’t take any offense.” He said in a polite tone, that matched his gentle smile. The boy in front of him seemed to be having a hard time, and Brett wasn’t sure why, but if he was bothering him, he was going to try to make sure he stopped.
Ezra's eyes widened slightly. "N-no. You're fine," he stammered, soon falling down to a mumble. "Please don't go." This was the first time in a while that he held a conversation with someone and he didn't want it to end so quickly. And despite how seemingly uncomfortable he was, he was quite enjoying the conversation. He tried smiling, which actually turned out better than he expected. It didn't feel forced. He felt happy. His eyes brightened slightly and his cheeks took on a slightly pinker tint, now with happiness, causing his freckles to stand out even more.
A smile stayed on his lips, relaxing some. "Alright, if you're sure." He replied crossing his arms over his chest loosely. He felt calm, and relaxed here. In front of Ezra that is. "So what classes are you taking this year? And are you dorming here?" Brett inquired, fiddling with the sleeve of his shirt. It was loose, and didn't show off his slenderness. He preferred this, he never liked how small he felt. Everyone always assumed he was younger than he actually was. It rather sucked.
Ezra shifted slightly. "U-uh, you know, the basics… you know… maths… sciences and uh… s-stuff like that." He had no clue why answering such a simple question was such a complex thing. He let out a rushed and almost incoherent mumble. "…and I'm majoring in music." He bit down on the aglet of his drawstring once again, looking side-to-side nervously. "And u-uh, no, I'm not dorming here." He looked down at his shoes and began twiddling his thumbs. "U-um… what are you taking?"
Brett chuckled some, still in a calm and composed manner. "I'm majoring in videography, but then I also have the typical English, and History. Stuff like that." He shrugged some, pulling his leg up onto the chair. His chin was resting on his knee, and he glanced at her hands. He tugged at his sleeve, pulling them over his hands. It was rather childish, but it was a quirk that he didn't mind having.
Ezra's smile returned to his face. "That's nice," he chirped. His face brightened significantly. "You know, music is awesome. It has helped me through a lot of rough times in my life…excluding some, but those were quite… awful." He began rambling on about music, all awkwardness that he had seemingly disappeared. "I find it quite a shame that there are people in this world who don't like music. Like, it's so wonderful!" He stopped fiddling with his thumbs and making small gestures with his hands. "I've been studying music since I was little and I have a huge place in my heart for it. I was studying music theory with my mother, but that… didn't last as long as I would've hoped." He suddenly stopped talking. "I'm talking too much, aren't I? I'm sorry."
Brett's smile grew warm as he sat there and talked. He seemed to care a lot about music, and have a deep passion for it. This seemed like his comfortable place. When Ezra apologized, Brett snapped out of his thoughts. "No! No, you're fine!" He told him, his leg sliding off the chair to the floor. "You seem happy when you talk about it, so go ahead. I find it interesting!"
"Oh," his eyes showed confusion, usually he would have heard something along the lines of 'yeah, you are talking too much.' He shrugged it off and continued. "You see, at first, I had picked up the viola, but that was… yeah no," he laughed a little, one could describe the sound as a giggle. "It just wasn't for me. I decided that I wanted to try out the double bass instead, though I was laughed at a lot due to my small stature." His eyebrow raised in curiosity. "You said that you play some instruments, what do you play?"
Brett blinked back, processing his question. "O-oh me?" He asked running a hand through his hair. He furrowed his brow in thought. "Well, I play the drums. I know basic guitar. Not much else. Though I will note, never ask me to sing. I sound like a drowning cat. Heck even that sounds better than I do." He snorted some, sitting up a little straighter. "I'd say I was a decent drummer."
