CJ was sitting alone, trying to just disappear. Though, it wasn't working out great. Her bright blonde hair, and her tall stature (Though, not actually that extremely tall) made her feel odd and out of place. She held a book above her nose, and only peeked over the edge every now and then. The Great Gatsby was on the cover, covered by her hand to try and diminish the possibility of someone coming over to start a conversation with her. Though it was unlikely for anyone to come in the first place.
As Kirana arrived at the college, she spied one of the taller students, a blonde girl sitting alone. She thought that she might be lonely, and she walked over to the girl, a smile on her face and waving hello. "Heloooo!" she chirped, her eyes sparkling. Kirana sat down next to the girl, setting her bag down next to her.
CJ peered over her book, watching a figure sit besides her. 'Lovely…'
CJ lifted her head, to look at the girl in front of her. "Hi…" She said softly, slinking lower in the seat. She wasn't sure what to do, most people ignored her, so she never had to hold conversations.
It was awkwardly quiet, and CJ had book marked her novel already. She wasn't sure what to do from here on.
Unlike most, Ezra was in no rush to get to school. He woke up on time, but it made no difference. He got up slowly and looked at himself in the mirror, the work of two hours of sleep was far from pretty. His hairs stuck up in this way and that, his blue bangs mixing with his black hairs. His eyes were slightly bloodshot and there were dark circles acting as accents to his purple eyes. His lips were thin, chapped, and downturned at the edges. His skin was pallid, but at the very least, free from blemishes. His eyes met his own as his spidery fingers traced the image in the mirror, only two words escaping his mouth.
"How pitiful."
He yawned and stretched. He sluggishly began getting ready for the day, already 20 minutes late by now. He lazy tied his shoulder-length hair in a ponytail, leaving all of his blue hair to roam free across his forehead. He pulled on his clothes and walked over to his bedpost to grab his stuff for the day. He picked up his book bag and walked out the door, skipping breakfast as per usual.
As he walked to school, he imagined what the day would be like. He pondered the assignments he would have, the people he would meet. A gentle smile pulled onto his face. Sounds horrible
He soon arrived at the college, 30 minutes late. A record. Record low at that.

"You seem lonely. Are you lonely?" Kirana asked, brushing back her hair behind her shoulder. Her eyes sparkled with happiness, and she reached out a hand to CJ. "I'm Kirana, but you can just call me Ran, like most do. And you are…?"
"Chasity," She started and took the friendly girl's hand. She did feel lonely, but she always thought she was a little too odd to be friends with anyone. "But like you, most people call me CJ…" 'and in middle school a lot of other fowl names' She finished her thought mentally trying not to be super pitying. She didn't want that, especially if this girl was trying to make friends.
Jackson pushed Libra out of the way. At the moment, he didn’t care of talking to his sister. All he cared was getting inside at time. (Which, he sadly failed.) Sadly, Libra had put Jackson in a foul mood, without knowing. As he walked through the hallways, he muttered curses under his breath. The only thing he was looking forward was the roommate part. Every year, the students got assigned new roommates, which made sense, because not everyone was going to be in the same school the next year.
Libra sighed as she watched Jackson push her aside and walk away. This made her think that she shouldn’t have left him alone. She tucked in a strand of hair and walked inside. She was late, she knew that. She also knew that she probably would get detention. She spotted two girls. One with bright blonde hair, and another with auburn sighed. She quickly walked up to them and sighed. “Hello, My name is Libra. Are the both of you new here?”

"Okay! It's nice to meet you CJ," Ran beamed. "Why are you sitting alone? You know, it'll be easier to make friends if you just go out there and talk to people." As soon as the words left her mouth, though, Ran internally cringed. Who was she to tell this girl how to make friends? Who was she to tell this girl what to do?

"Hi Libra!" Ran turned to Libra, her face bright. "Yes, actually, I am new! You're not, I'm assuming?" she asked, a little bit curious. It would be helpful to have someone who knew their way around the school… and wasn't afraid to walk up to people. She wasn't going to lie to herself, she honestly didn't think CJ would be a very good tour guide around the school.
Libra smiled slightly. This girl was energetic, and she always loved meeting energetic people. “No, not really. This is my second year here.” Libra chuckled and smiled brightly at Ran. “Well, then. Welcome to the school, I hope you like it here.” She paused and tapped her chin. “I assume that no one has given you the tour of the school?”
"What's even the point?" Pollux grumbled under his breath.
He seriously didn't understand any negative feelings aimed at his friend. It's not like he'd really done anything- at least nothing worse than the next guy.
"You going to try to find a student organization this year, or nah?"
Michael nodded "I might start one actually but who knows" he shrugged as he spoke slowly closing his eyes then they flew open as a thought hit him "There might be a new kid this year"
"There's a whole new class," Pollux sighed, "There's a new kid, or several hundred…"
He tapped his hand on the table.
"Let me know if you need help starting up a club though. What're you thinking of doing?"
He flipped the laptop screen back up.
Michael looked at his friend with confusion then sudden realization hit him "Yeah you're right and the club was a gay straight alliance or possibly a coding/debate club" he had pulled his phone from his pocket and started up a game, The Arcana, and got a tarot reading then went into the story line
"We don't have gay club already?" Pollux asked, "I'd never bothered to go, but I thought there was one. Maybe not."
He scrolled absentmindedly through random Wikipedia pages as he continued talking to Michael.

As soon as the words left her mouth, though, Ran internally cringed. Who was she to tell this girl how to make friends? Who was she to tell this girl what to do?
That stung a bit, even if she was trying to help her. Even if she was about the friendliest girl she had talked to. Even if she was the only girl going to talk to her this semester. "Yeah, I figured, I just… prefer to be alone sometimes." She shrugged some, tracing the cover of her book with her finger. "I mean don't you like having time to your self too?"

"I know…" Ran's face fell, knowing she shouldn't have said that. "I just- I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said anything… Sorry… I can go if you want," she started to apologize, and it was clear that her words were genuine. Her genuinity showed in her face, her eyes, her body. She looked away from CJ, not quite wanting to meet the other's gaze.

Ran turned back to Libra, forcing a smile onto her face. "Yeah, the building looks really nice! And no, I haven't gotten a chance to look around the school quite yet," she answered, looking at the school building once more. It actually looked pretty fancy, in her opinion.
Ezra observed all of the talking students and made his way to a chair, remaining silent. He tapped a finger against his thigh. All of the idle chatter around him feeling a blur of emotion, his face as blank as he felt. He pulled out his phone and scrolled through endless rabbit holes in the digital abyss. A slight smile crept onto his face, but it was barely even noticeable.
“Well, then. I’ll gladly give you a tour of the school, plus It’ll give me a great excuse for being late to a class. Anyways, I’ll be your tour guide for today. . “ She paused and then continued. “What did you say your name was again?”

"No!" She shouted, not even meaning to. She flushed and sunk back into her seat. Clearing her throat, she avoided looking at Ran. "I-I mean, no it's fine." She mumbled, her face rosy and her voice shy. She was already awkward enough. This wasn't helping her case in the slightest.
Brett blinked, coming out of his mindless day dream. He had already walked down several wrong paths, and was on another. With a groan, he turned back and decided to jog to the campus. His brother had graduated from the school he was suppose to be attending, but if he kept loosing himself, he'd never get there. "Alright Brett, focus." He scolded himself. After a few minutes he found the school and ran inside.
"We don't have gay club already?" Pollux asked, "I'd never bothered to go, but I thought there was one. Maybe not."

Michael shrugged as he did Julian's story on his game "Possibly but i'm not sure i'll have to ask" he had been paying attention to his friend with his ears but his eyes were on the character on his screen as he played through plot making choices and close calls
“But yeah, like I said, let me know if you need any help. I can always help get the word out, find a professor to sponsor the club, that sort of thing,” Pollux replied.
He stretched a bit.
“When is your next class?”
"In a couple hours I had an online class this morning but slept through it and came here for the same class" Michael laughed as he finished his sentence putting his phone back into his hoodie pocket still thinking of that character from The Arcana but payed attention to Pollux as well thanking him for his support
