He pulled out a granola bar and held it out to Michael, not looking his way.

Michael shook his head "No thanks I'll be fine but thanks for the offer" his lips curling into a smile when he thought of his family

“Alright, if you insist,” Pollux replied, shoving the food back into his bag.
He kept walking, keeping mostly silent as the campus appeared in his line of sight as he turned the corner.
