Etta ducked, a bullet ripping past her head. "Holy sh-"
The boat rocked with impact, and Etta fell off the side, desperately trying to swim above the harsh waves between the boats.

Neva noticed the splashing in the water, running to the side she saw the woman, " hey! Grab this!" She yelled and threw the rope

Etta, for once, was glad she wasn't dressed in British uniform. "th-thanks!!" She shouted, mouth full of saltwater as she scrambled up the rope, clinging to the side of the other boat. "By God!!!"

" by god is right, now take this and shoot blue!" She said and handed her pistol

Etta scrambled over the side, shakily grabbing the gun. “How do I use it??”

" aim, pull the trigger."

Etta gave The Woman a strange look, then shrugged, shouting as she ran around, shooting in the general direction of the troops

neva had to jump back a good few times " shoot the damn blue!" she yelled near her door.

Eleanor winced at the shout, but she heard Neva's voice and at least knew she was alright.

Sally was an amazing shot and hit someone on the other ship every time. A bullet almost hit her but she dodged. "I'M COMING FOR YOUR LEFT SHOES AND I'M SHITIN IN EM BUDDY!" she shouted before firing and hitting the soldier who almost hit her.

neva laughed " okay doggie what you got about leftys?" she asked through her laughed. (omfg sally i swear)

"I can go 2 weeks in just a left shoe. But I can't go 1 second in just a right one." She explained to Neva.

" id rather have no shoe- arghaa!" neva yelled as a stray bullet hit her square in the shoulder.

Eleanor heard Neva yell, and her heart dropped out of her chest. No. She rose to her feet and opened the door of Neva's office, making sure to stay out of sight unless Neva needed her.

neva leaned against the wall, cursing

"Woman down! Stow away keep shooting!" She shouted at Etta going to tend to Neva's wounds.

"Sally," Eleanor called. "Bring her in here!"

neva gave a growl " give me a minute an ill get back up"

"Neva. Here. Now." Eleanor ordered firmly. Her tone suggested no questioning.

neva finches a bit, getting up and walking into her bedroom.

Once she was close enough, Eleanor reached out and guided her inside. She made eye contact with Sally, but her eyes weren't as hostile as they were when they normally looked at her. It was there for a moment, then she shut the door and turned to Neva. "What happened?" she asked softly.

" isnt it clear, a stray hit me " she said

Eleanor carefully inspected it. "It doesn't look too bad."
