"No problem," Alistair replied. "Would you like to walk or take a cab?"
"No problem," Alistair replied. "Would you like to walk or take a cab?"
"Let's take a cab. Wouldn't want you getting sick, now would we?" He asks, chuckling softly.
"I would really rather not," Alistair agreed with a smile as he pushed Tony's wheelchair across the lobby. "There'll probably be one out here, there usually is."
"Alright." He chuckles softly, "Thank heaven for Taxi's."
After hailing a cab, helping Tony into it, and pushing the wheelchair back into the hospital, Alistair got in next to Tony and gave the driver the address. He leaned back and sighed. "What a night, huh?"
"No kidding. I'm just glad they released me before midnight this time." He laughs, shaking his head.
Alistair chuckled. "That is quite a relief," he replied. "I would have stayed either way, though. It's no fun to be in the hospital alone." He smiled sadly.
He smiles a little. "That's very kind of you, Alistair." He says softly. "It really isn't fun being alone, but I've gotten used to it."
"No problem, Tony," Alistair said. "And I'm sorry you had to get used to it."
He shrugs. "When it comes to others pain, I can't empathize, and I don't know how to help." He shrugs and sighs softly.
"Hey, that's not your fault," Alistair said, looking over at him. "Don't be too hard on yourself"
He shrugs, "A lot of people take offense, so I stopped trying to make friends." He shakes his head.
"I'm sorry," Alistair said, reaching over and taking Tony's hand. "I'd be happy to be your friend if you'll have me."
Antoine looks towards him, "I'd appreciate that." He says softly. He starts when the other takes his hand. Wait… it's just friendly interaction. Besides! I'm straight!
At that moment, they pulled up in front of Alistair's apartment. "Oh, here we are!" he exclaimed. He paid the cabby, then helped Tony out of the car. "I live on the fifth floor, but luckily for us, there's an elevator."
Antoine releases a sigh, "Okay good." He says, smiling a bit. He chuckles as he gazes at the other, "Where would we be without modern technology… hey… I just rhymed unintentionally… whoops."
Alistair chuckles. "Nice one." He leads them to the elevator and pushes the button for the fifth floor. He leans against the wall and closes his eyes.
He chuckles, following. He hums to himself as he rests in the elevator. He was exhausted, to say the very least.
Arriving on his floor, he led Tony to his small apartment and unlocked the door. "Well, here we are. Welcome to my humble abode."
Antoine smiles, "I like it. Very homie." He says, chuckling as he looks at the other.
"Thanks!" Alistair grinned. "There's only one bed, so you can take that and I'll sleep on the couch, but first, we should probably have something to eat."
"It's alright, I'll sleep on the couch." He says, humming a little.
"No, you're the guest, so you get the bed. No arguing," Alistair stated. "I'm going to whip up some food, you can join me, or you can watch tv, or there's a bookshelf in the corner if you want to read."
He sighs softly. Alistair certainly is a stubborn one. "I'll help you in the kitchen if you don't mind."
"It would be appreciated," Alistair replied with a smile as they walked into the small kitchen. "How's spaghetti and turkey meatballs sound?"
